HORRIBLE !!! First the service guy tells you you get 3k recall money back and the recall is free, But by the time you walk out you’re charged 6k and no sign of that 3k Then no call to pick up your call until a week later with $ 99 a day storage fee!! They charged me $110 for a lightbulb and it was NOT fixed.Steve the service director saw it lose just hanging there. ( never got that Refund they promised either) Finally after 3 trips the General Manager tells me we are here to help( just small talks) because 6 min after I drove off the engine lights went off again and they are telling me when we hand you the car we have stated on the release paper you need SERVICE!!! Well why did I come to Mercedes Benz dealership and payed 6 k !!!! (And for that service you need to make NEW appointment and take off work AGAIN!!!) The only thing you get at this place is getting Ripped off and waste of Your time. NO Customer service at all and that Starts with GM!!! This is not the end they hear from me. I’m going to take them to court !!!! That place is a JOKE I’m surprised that the owners of this place keep these people Still work there!!!

I had an appointment due to a check engine light. Car seemed great. Brought it in. 3 days later I was contacted that a simple thing needed to be replaced. Next day car was ready . I was told same day I?d be contacted and if they needed to get a part maybe I?d have to wait an extra day for that. I?m sure Covid had changed things but geez? that has never happened. Bummed

My service advisor at that time was Emily Solis who was very helpful and made sure that she took care of me.

Servicing super cars can be expensive but it makes sense because I put my wife's GLS 450 truck and my everyday C Class AMG through extreme driving. Its nice to know that when I take our cars to South Bay, they have to pass a 24 point inspection and so much more, to give us the ultimate driving experience. The Coffee is nice too

I had a wonderful experience at Mercedes Benz of South Bay. I made an appointment and I arrived early to meet Daniel in the Sales Department. He was very nice and not a pushy salesman. He was very patient with my mother and I. Jason in the Finance Department was wonderful. He was very personable and patient as well. He went above and beyond. He was also very funny and knowledgeable.The Manager was nice as well. I don't remember his name. Everyone was friendly and the process did not take all day. I recommend this place for purchasing a vehicle to anyone who wants to experience professionalism . I love my vehicle.

Went in to trade in my vehicle and was given a quote for my trade in that should have been good at all Autonation dealers. When I went next door to Toyota Autonation they informed me there was no account ever made for me with any vehicle quote which is standard practice. When I left the Mercedes-Benz show room I found a salesman pulling up a car for a woman who had two small children with her. The children were hanging off of the mirrors on my car and climbing on the tire. The salesman did nothing to stop them and didn't even help get the rude customer's attention as she was blatantly ignoring my voiced concerns about her children. Very poor experience. I was expecting more professionalism from an autonation dealer

e got our dream car from this dealership almost within our budget. We have been looking to buy BENZ for almost a year but couldn?t buy it because of less inventory, inflated prices etc. etc. We finally made the plunge this weekend. We went to the store with no hopes of getting a car in our budget. When I first called Mr. Mina ? our sales hero, to book the appointment, his attitude was super optimistic. He told me, you guys come in and I will make this happen. In my mind, I was like every salesperson says that but no one is able to meet my budget. Anyways I went with my husband and 2 kids to the dealership on Sunday. It was busy; I mean busy. There were 3-4 salespersons with clients. I thought in my mind, does this dealership even have cars in the inventory? But they had a lot of options. We were greeted nicely by Mr. Mina, he listened to our requests and showed us some options. He took us for a test drive and explained all the features patiently. We really loved the car but when we saw the actual price, we were disappointed because the car was out of our budget, and from our past experiences with the dealership, we were thinking we won?t be even close to our budget. Mr. Mina finally shared the numbers and man we were right; the car was way out of our budget. Then we met with Jason- Manager of the store. He was very honest and transparent with communication. There were no false hopes created by him. He asked about our budget and said there is no way he can meet the exact budget, but he can come up with some options. Unlike another dealership, he didn?t straight say, Sorry, but this is what we can do. He said, let me see what I can do to help. He made some calls and gave us some options. He came back with final numbers, which were not exactly our budget but still close to what we could go with. We completed the deal. For sure, meeting with numbers was one thing but another primary thing was the dream team- Mr. Mina and Mr. Jason. They are there to work with you, not just get your money. They both were very transparent and very patient with us. They knew we were with small kids; they did their best to accommodate that. Last, I also want to recognize Ms. Mara- the finance lady ? who was the most important person to close the deal. She was supposed to leave at 6 pm but we were in her office till 9 PM to close the deal. She let my kids to play with her puppy and was very patient in dealing with my impatient kids( who were there in the dealership from 3 PM ? 9 PM). I also spoke to other customers that day; I think the store closed 4-6 cars deal that day and I can imagine that because everyone was so patient with their customers. In fact Mr Mina, in the end, said, this is not the end of a relationship but the start of one. This totally proved that we made the right choice to get the car from this dealership. By the way, this was our 2nd visit to this dealership in 9 months and the experience was extremely different. I would honestly say, this is one of the best dealership experiences we have had so far. Great JOB team. I would highly recommend this dealership.

My first time owning a Mercedes Benz A-Class, the car is beyond what I’ve expected. It’s amazing and such a luxury car! The drive is great and the esthetic is awesome! I took it in for sun shield repair since most of Mercedes’ Benz has had issues in the past about the sun roof failing. Babak Vahedi is one of the best service advisor in that location and he took care of all my concern. The sun shield is fixed and my car is 100 % in great working condition. Best Mercedes’ dealership! They made the entire process of buying a car stress free! Spoke with Rick, explained everything we wanted and what we had down and how much monthly we wanted. He worked some numbers and quoted us before driving to dealership. They were able to get everything we wanted but better!!! Kelly in finance, is the best finance manager we’ve ever dealt with when buying cars. She does not pressure you at all, explains the realistic side of what you need when buying a Mercedes. She is amazing at what she does! The staff is amazing here. Makes sure you’re well taken care of from providing you water to making sure your car is connected and you understand how to work a Mercedes. We got there a little late as We drove all the way from diamond bar, this entire team stayed until we the deal was done. CUSTOMER SERVICE 20/10!!! Everything you need and want when buying a car.

I hate going to car dealerships as much as I hate going to the Dentist & DMV. However, on Saturday I had an amazing experience and was so grateful! The man that directs your car to the service area was great, professional, friendly and knows what he's doing getting the cars moving and no cutting in line and helping direct you when it's time to leave so you don't hit any other expensive cars. Emily Solis my Advisor was amazing. She was kind and explained in layman terms what was happening during the stages of my car recall inspection and thanked me for being patient. Her nails were awesome too! The waiting room & bathroom is top notch clean, pretty, great air circulation, zen quiet energy and boy their chairs are super comfortable making my 3hr+ wait pleasant!! I'm grateful for the entire experience and felt at peace that my car was safe to leave the lot!. Oh and thank you Mercedes-Benz for the complimentary carwash it was so clean!

I made an appointment for arecall that required my vehicle to be towed. The towing was provided by the Mwrcedes corporation, not the dealership, and somewhere along the way they received the wrong pickup address, and the orinal towing company proved to be less than reliable. I had to visit the service department to try to fix it but the person I spoke with was not fully informed on the process, referring me to call a number on the original recall letter. This led to a call that referred me to the company handling the towing portion for the MBZ corp. After some time I was able to schedule an eventual pick up for my vehicle. My service was scheduled for the following morning and completed late in the evening. When I picked my vehicle up I was not given an explanation of the results of its status, although there was a note attached that stated it passed the required inspection. Then, i assumed that I would be having my vehicle brought to me for pickup because a young man asked what my ticket number was and said he would be back with it. After waiting for 15 minutes, I discovered that he forgot about me. Eventually someone asked if I had been helped and then the ball got rolling on my vehicle pickup. I will be a returning customer because of the close proximty to my home, and I am assuming this was not the norm because this was my first visit.

The sales associate who helped me throughout most of the visit, coincidentally named Mercedes, went above and beyond to ensure I got the car I wanted. The finance person I dealt with, Hector, was extremely personable and worked to get me the best deal possible. Everyone else from the finance manager to the gentleman who swapped out my license plate frame to the employees I briefly spoke to in passing made the ordinary experience of going to a car dealership pretty extraordinary.

My wife bought her C300 here about 3 years ago for $26,000 when she finished medical school. She was so excited. The car has had multiple problems that we have had to fix with this dealership and we've wasted thousands of dollars as a result. When we finally had enough; we tried to sell it back to them only for them to offer us $5,500 for it when the fair market value nowadays is easily $14,000. The sales manager Dave couldn't care less. I've been a South Bay resident for 25+ years. Being a business owner and fairly knowledgeable about cars, I would urge everyone to be extremely careful before dealing with these people. It is my honest and wholehearted opinion that this dealership is a disgrace to the South Bay. We deserve better than these cold and arrogant people.

This is my second Mercedes and I would describe myself as an internet buyer who prefers that to the in-person experience. I went to my local dealer to test drive and “kick the tires” of the vehicle I’m interested in, but utilized the “Build” feature on the MBZ website to choose the actual colors, options and accessories that fit my needs and budget. I returned to David at Mercedes-Benz of Southbay because of the way he handled my previous purchase...courteous, intelligent, knowledgeable and willing to do everything possible to satisfy my buying decision. He found the car I wanted, made an amazing deal with me and had the car delivered to my home without a single problem or glitch. For these reasons I intend to continue to make all my future purchases from David and Mercedes-Benz of Southbay and I would recommend anyone to do the same...

I am happy with my purchase, and it was somewhat of a smooth process. Prior to purchasing my vehicle, I expressed how important it is for me to have automatic start. The salesman Ryad assured me that he would help me set it up But that did not happen I set an appointment on my off day to come down to get it set up but the salesman advised me he was not available and said he would set me up for an appointment for next week. That did not happen. I am a little disappointed on the lack of follow-followup and my automatic start is still not set up for my vehicle

I came in for a coolant top off and a service recall. I dropped the car off at 9:30 and was told it should take no more than 2-4 hours. I was told I would receive a call when the car was ready and never received one. I had to call the service line to check on the appointment and was sent straight to voicemail. I had to call to schedule a new appointment to get the status of my car. My service provider was busy and was told I would get a call back. It was now 2:30 pm with no calm so I decided to just drive there and see what was going on. Turns out the car was outside and ready and my service provider clocked out and left for the day. Leaving me with a guessing game and extra pick up and drop off hassle. Was not the ideal experience I was accustomed to.

Last service experience was completely unacceptable (this after many previous visits fell short). Dropped my vehicle off for a re-service after it was just serviced for the same issue two weeks prior. They had my vehicle for a whole week. Dropped it off with close to a full tank of gas. When I picked it up it only had a quarter tank and the mileage out on my paperwork was under reported. No explanation for the missing gas or additional miles. Had to contact my service advisor several times and still didn’t receive a timely response or resolution until I hounded for a supervisor. Sadly I will not be back and will now be driving out of the way for service at another location.

Just bought a GLC300 (2019) there. I love this car with reasonable price and upgraded gear. However, I need to wait for more than 2.5 hrs to complete the payment procedure. This is definitely too long.

When completed, work was good. However, took almost a week to complete service as specialty part was unavailable. Didn't appreciate not returning text msg when request made for car being complete when planned; it wasn't ready as I had moved business meetings to pick it up.

Had the opportunity to work with Julian Luna. What an incredible experience. We came in to see a Certified Pre-Owned E400 Cabriolet. He knew every feature on the car and had us use them while in the parking lot and while driving. Shifting through the different driving modes was awesome to see how much the characteristics of the car changed on each setting. They had the complete service history of the car that he walked us through. He answered all of our questions in a straight forward and honestly, in our opinion.

My vehicle, a 2009 ML320 Bluetch (Diesel) is part of a large recall campaign. It is unfortunate, as there is a nationwide back order of the EGR Valve. In fact, it was a month before the repair was completed. Respectfully, this was not the fault of the dealership. I read there were other owners nationwide who waited much longer than me. When I dropped off my vehicle. I did not have a scheduled appointment until the following morning. However, an African American gentleman in a red shirt helped me fill out the necessary night drop form. He was very friendly, personable and professional. There was no loaner offered or available. Fortunately, I own a second vehicle. It was disappointing when I learned the part was still back ordered, but the service manager of the department apologized and clearly explained their situation. She offered to keep my vehicle on their premises because my vehicle was running poorly due to the Map Sensor. However, she assured me she would do her best to secure the part, as they became available. In addition, My service advisor E. Solis kept me informed regarding the repair via text messaging. There were a few gaps in her communication but she explained the reasons why. This was acceptable. When the repair was almost completed. My advisor was informed by the mechanical technician my oil cooler had a leak and recommended it be re-sealed. Since the repair being done was in the general area. I was given a great deal for this discovery. I was greatful for their integrity. When everything was said and done. I was happy with the customer service, care and corrections made by their team. My vehicle was cleaned and the ride home was flawless and enjoyable. When I lifted the hood the attention to details was apparent. Even though my vehicle is thirteen years old, service was not compromised. "Teamwork is the dreamwork" Thank you kindly for everything!

I don't even know where to begin about Clarice.. she is AMAZING! From the first day, we contact we knew we found the right person for our day. She is kind, personable, makes you feel relaxed, and takes her time to do the right thing. I could go on and on. We had some struggles since both our families are split so then tension was definitely felt on the day off but she when above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable, and stayed positive. Amilcar, the service rep, did the best he could in helping me with my 2020 GLC350e. From the beginning this car has had software issues, and I have brought it in for service at least 5 times for software issues which cause the "check engine light" to go on, the electric engine to run loudly, and a red "turn off car immediately" message to appear. The latest service did not solve the software problem. I was told I must wait for a new software update by the shop foreman Robert Garcia, who also said that the release date of this update is unknown . Robert is knowledgeable about these GLC350e vehicles, and realizes the problems these cars have. In the meantime, I was told to just drive the car if the "check engine light" comes on. As far as customer service, I was treated well by Amilcar and Robert, but my GLC350e problems remain unsolved.

I don't know how many stars it was warrant due to my experience to get my two recalls taken care of. 1st when I called to make an appointment with the service department, I asked about a loaner/rental car service. I was told they don't have loaner but have rental. I asked about the price of the rental the person on the phone told me it's on MB for the rental. They proceed to schedule an appointment for me and I emphasize with this appointment there's a rental available for me. they told me YES. Brought the car in at the appointment time and was told there's no rental for the recall unless there's something wrong after they check it out. That's not what I was told. I left and at the mean time I found out there's the second recall on the brake booster and was advised stop driving the car right away. Another lengthy phone call to figure this out and was told I can have the car tow in to service, another appointment was scheduled and said the car will be tow to the service center. Appointment time came and gone without any sign of tow service, called the service again, then was told I was suppose to call the tow service myself to order a tow service. there was no such information related to me while scheduling the appointment and no phone # was given to me to call for the tow, infact I had emphasized multiple time that my car will be tow to service on the appointment time and date. When I called all I was told was oh "you didn't call the tow service? A number was given to you to call." By now I'm beyond mad and angry. I end up driving the car in to the service to have the recalls taken of, the rest is pretty smooth and got a ride to where I need to go. At the end, the communication with the customers for me is 0 star. And also became a he said she said situation. They told me he information is related to me, but I didn't get the information. Making a phone call to tow service is not difficult if I was told I need to do it. I wasted two mornings for this misinformation.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer on a Saturday. Initially, it started off as a good experience as my salesperson, Julian wanted to earn my business. After deciding that I wanted to purchase the SUV around 2:40pm, I did not officially leave the dealer with my vehicle until about 7pm. Below are the issues I experienced: Issue: Car had no floor mats or user manual Dealer's solution: None, they informed me there is nothing they can do. Issue: Empty tank of gas Dealer's solution: Filled up the car with a little over 1/4 of gas Issue: SUV trunk was programed to open to a certain level and I asked if they could reset it to the original settings Dealer's solution: Informed me that they couldn't figure it out because their mechanic's don't usually work on BMW's and that I should simply YouTube it myself and fix it. Issue: Waited over 3 hours to purchase the vehicle as the finance department was extremely full during peak hours. Dealer's solution: Was constantly lied to about my wait time. "We'll slide you in in 5 more minutes" (1.5 hours passed before their "5" minutes had elasped). Issue: Salesperson working with other clients while still working with me. I had to go inform one of the front desk staff that my time is also valuable and that I don't appreciate Julian taking on a 15 min phone call while helping me fill out my credit application or jumping over with another salesperson and speaking to their client for about 20+ minutes. Dealer's solution: Offered to change salesperson if I wasn't fully satisfied. I decided not to change as it was a waiting game after the paperwork was submitted. Issue: dealer informed me that they were going to "detail" my car before I left. When I was done purchasing the car I went over to my SUV and realized that they hadn't vacuum the inside or even dust off the interior. You could visibly see the dirt on top of the back seats. Dealer's solution: salesperson took the car back and they "cleaned" the vehicle a second time. Resulting in a 45+ minute additional wait time. Based on this experience, I will not be recommending this dealership to others.

This is my second review and shame on me for trying them again as nothing has changed. They just dont care about the commitments made by them and think that the customers have no other work. Made sure to call three times ahead and make an appointment for a service to make sure I have a loner / car available for me which the lady promised (and this was not the call center it was someone at the dealership). But as always when I got there it was the same excuses. Not again and suggest not to use them as the customer relationship managers (Jacqlyn Mohl) just dont care about your time or probably understand what reserving something means.

This was a Fargo Type experience for us at your dealership with the rush factor and ever changing pricing and markups. Sadly; I had my checkbook and could have paid cash for any vehicle in the inventory but did not feel comfortable and would warn other customers to carefully scrutinize financial documents for manipulated contractual figures. .

Great service and friendly staff. I brought my vehicle for a 2pm appt, and someone was there to help me within 5 minutes. Naomi (service advisor) was wonderful, and she kept me updated throughout the week on the status of the car. They also provided a lovely loaner vehicle for my use without any difficulty! When I came back to pick up my vehicle, everything was very organized and my car was ready for pickup within 10 minutes of signing paperwork. Overall experience was really good. Mercedes Benz’s dealership were very accommodating while my car was getting serviced. Weather you need a ride home and a ride back or a rental to go on about your day free of charge. Yes having a Mercedes is expensive but safety is everything to me and my life is worth paying the cost. The employees are very nice, and I will be definitely coming back again for my next service.

I am so happy with my experience at MB of South Bay. Annie was the sales rep that helped but from the moment I walked in the service and attentiveness was great from everyone. I own a service based business so I appreciate good customer service, they did not disappoint. After getting approved and signing all my paperwork I dropped off my car rental at a local Enterprise and was also picked up so I could drive home in my new car, REALLY appreciated that gesture! Annie took her time detailing parts of the car and made sure I understood all the major bells and whistles. Very happy with my experience, I would highly recommend purchasing from here!

After searching country wide for a new S580 without missing options I came across the perfect one at Mercedes of South Bay. These guys were really a joy to deal with and navigated the entire process with precision. Cordell McDonald was an absolute superstar and would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to ask for him. Considering I'm across the entire country there were some challenges however MB South Bay made quick work of them. From sending a mobile notary to my home to sign the paperwork to recommending an excellent transporter who got my new car from CA to NY in under a week they seemed to have all the bases covered. Buying/Leasing a vehicle today just isn't the same as any other time in my life but these guys were fantastic and aren't ripping people off with the market adjustment many dealerships are charging now. If you had any concerns about MB of South Bay I hope this alleviated them for you and you choose them for your next purchase.

I?ve been having South Bay Mercedes service my cars for years now. Always thought their prices of repairs were on the high-end but it gave me a sense of confidence to have the dealership take care of my car and develop a history of repairs since the car was originally purchased there. I?m giving a 4 star rating this time because of I had confusion about the car loan policy. The receptionist who answered said that my service advisor had to approve the car loan while my car was being repaired. Then I spoke to my service advisor and she said that she could get a rental car and we made the appointment for the following day. I take the car in and ask for a rental and my advisor said that since it wasn?t a major service she could not approve a rental, knowing that it?s annual maintenance. So I felt this was a ?bait and switch? to get me in soon and then offered me Lyft services to/from the dealership to home. This was fine with me since I didn?t have any appointments that day. My car wasn?t ready until the following morning and the my husband said ?what happens if we didn?t have a second car?? which was true. Luckily we had a backup. Think that loaner car policies should be upfront to customers from the beginning so customers would know what to expect and be honest. Otherwise service was good and car was ready and washed when I picked up my vehicle.

This rating is only for my service advisor (Hans) at South Bay MBZ. He was friendly, informative and generously helpful during my appointment. If I had another option to rate my whole experience I would’ve put down 3 stars. Being my first time at this location I was a little disappointed that the establishment didn’t feel like other luxury car dealerships. I wasn’t even greeted upon entering the showroom or waiting area and also wasn’t offered any refreshments per usual at another MBZ location.

Great service as usual. When they told me two hours for the work, they really got the car back to me in two hours. I only gave four stars for facilities because they still haven?t brought back any snacks to the waiting area. It?s just bottled water and a coffee machine. C?mon. Covid has been around for over two years. You can certainly figure out by now how to bring snacks back for your customers.

On April 15, the valet at a local hotel lost my keys. Four days later, they towed my S class to MB South Bay so that new keys could be made. Emily Solis was my service rep. She said it would take 3-5 days to order keys, have them delivered and then programmed. I was told they had no loaner cars, so I had to rent one from the onsite rental company. Having heard nothing, I called to find out what was going on. I was told that they keys had arrived but had not yet been programmed. Later I learned that the keys had NOT arrived on the day I was told they had. Later, I was told that because my car is older, I needed a new EIS so that the keys could connect with the car. I told them to do that and let me know when the car would be ready. I never heard back. So I called again several times and left messages, with no return phone call. Finally, I left a message for April Stewart, the service manager, and Emily almost immediately called me back to say that the reprogramming was taking far longer than expected because my car is so old and there is a lot of data to download to the new EIS. That was on Friday, April 29. I have not heard from them since. I have left at least three messages for both Emily and April, but still no return phone call. I have no idea what to do now. My car has been in their shop for more than a month, but I have not been given a status update in 12 days. If there was a class on how to give extremely bad customer service, this dealership should teach it.

Just purchased my 3rd car from this location. Ask for James! He has been there for years, very knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed in his service. James puts the customer first. I purchased my first car over the phone 100%. Showed up to sign the car and contract were both ready. Drove home that night in my Model S Tesla. 2 weeks later I grabbed a twin turbo Ford explorer for my wife. James arranged the car to he delivered from a sister autonation Ford store. 1 year later I needed that same assistance but the car was in TN at a sister Autonation Honda store. Waiting on delivery for my Model X Tesla now. Same service more complicated transaction but James did it all. Thank you South Bay Mercedes-Benz.

I should have learned from my first time dealing with Mercedes Benz South Bay / Autonation. Clueless -- it should not take 3 weeks to get a car fixed for a key issue - Not to mention that they did not even offer me a loaner car and I had to pay out of pocket for something that was under warranty. Which later by the way they ended up telling me was not -- totally clueless staff and my family will never be buying anything from mercedes or autonation again . I am also passing this horror tale to the 8000 people in my company . Steer clear !!!

The service was great , arrived to my appointment for service B at 10:15 and was out by 1:30. Plenty of lobby area to sit and wait for my vehicle, not to mention hot chocolate, coffee and courtesy water is provided. To install a center console cover it took from 8am to 4pm, which is understanding they have a lot of work. I was texted around 4pm that the car was ready for pick up, I arrived around 4:20 to pick up, when I check out I was told that I was going to get a complimentary wash. When I went to the porter to get me car he said that is was going to take a while, after 30 min they bring my car and it is not washed, he said that there was a big line to get it washed.

Came in to see my options since my lease was about to be over. I needed to get into another car soon. I ended up putting a deposit on a car I hadn’t seen, it was still on the port. The car arrived and they gave me 24 hours to come and look at the car to see if I liked, if not they return my deposit. I saw the car and ended up loving it. Carol helped us throughout the whole process. Ended up purchasing my first ever car and also buying my prior lease as well. Definitely recommend Carol, such a sweet soul. Dropped of my vehicle at 7AM, was told it would be done by 4PM the same day. Never heard from Amilcar that day, or the next day. I texted, called and nothing. Finally had to call the receptionist to get information about my car, was told it was done but had to get myself to the dealer even though they didn't offer me a loaner when I dropped mine off. They had my car for over 40 hours but never communicated anything with me the entire time.

Because I've been driving my 2018 E400 Coupe very little over the past two years due to the Covid pandemic, I've been having a lot of problems with keeping the car's battery charged. It died completely in October 2021 and the car had to be transported to South Bay MB. The mechanics concluded that the battery itself was defective and replaced it under warranty. The problems resurfaced recently, and this time the mechanic went through the car's entire electrical system to make sure that nothing was draining the battery when the car was not in use. No such problems were found and it was again determined that the battery was the problem, perhaps because of the lack of use, and once again it was again replaced with a new battery. Although the car was out of warranty at that point, the dealership nonetheless did not charge me for either the battery or the time spent diagnosing this vexing problem. I was particularly pleased with the great service provided by Customer Care Representative Babak Vahedi. Kudos!

I did not receive the level of customer severs that I use to receiving. First- My Service Provider was late for my appointment after I reserved an 8am appointment. Second- The repairs on my car were over priced for a simple for a A5 Service. Third- My Service Provider was very short with me after being very late for my appointment. Fourth- After paying for the A5 service I was told in a very rude response that my car would not receive the complementary car wash or cleaned by the service personal at the South Bay Mercedes dealership. When I ask why, I was giving a nasty & unacceptable response with an attitude. My visit to the dealership was not a good experience & I mostly likely will not return to the dealership for future service on my Mercedes Benz considering the amount of money that I payed to have my car serviced. The car rental at the dealership was okay but the rental provider gave me a car with a empty gas tank level therefor I had to refuel the gas tank after leaving the dealership. When I returned the rental I provided a receipt for a refund & I was denied a refund for the gas purchase. The gas level was not check by the rental company before I was given the rental at the dealership. Over all my service experience was VERY POOR & I was not happy with the service provided on my Mercedes Benz of South Bay. The entire level of service was poor & my rating would be a Failure to provide excellent service is what they pride their reputation on. The service grade would be an F. I was very disappointed with the customer service my wife and I received at Mercedes of SBay. Our sale person was helpful through most of the transaction. After signing the paperwork I took the key and headed home once home. Once home I realized I only have the one key. I Called my salesman Julian and he told me it only came with 1 key. He said he would speak with his sales manager and try to do something about getting another key. A couple days went by I called ands spoke to Dave the sales manager he said there was nothing they could do, not even order a key at their cost. Now we're out over $600 to have a spare key after spending $36,000. They also wanted $180 to program the key after purchase. It has been several years since we've purchased a car but never did I thing a Giant company like AutoNation could certainly afford better than my wife and I to absorb almost $1000 in cost for a missing key. Shame on you AutoNation. I would not recommend AutoNation for your next car purchase!

We were offered a Mercedes Premium Service Contract and Protection Plus - 2 different contracts that cost of total almost $6,000 when we purchased a car from South Bay MB. The finance Manager - Kelly- said that we can later cancel the contract if decided otherwise. We were resistance to sign the contract, but as Kelly convinced it can be easily cancelled later, then we signed it. We requested for the contract terms sheet to study the contract coverage and to date only the Mercedes Premium Service contract was given - nothing on Protection Plus. On August 28, 2021 just one day after we purchased the car and signed the contract - even when the car had not been delivered - we decided to cancel the Protection Plus contract and informed Kelly as well as Memo via emails and phone calls. Memo said that $2k on the Protection Plus is nothing for SB Mercedes and wouldn't be a problem to cancel. Until today Oct 22,2021 - almost 2 months after the cancellation request, we haven't heard back the refund confirmation, let alone receiving the refund itself.While $2k might be nothing for SB Mercedes, for us is a lot! Just after I wrote the review - almost 2 months after we confirmed the cancellation of the Protection Plus, Memo called me, told me in a rude way that we haven't filed any cancellation properly as the contract is under my daughter's names she should be the one to cancel. He instructed me to get my daughter to check the current mileage of the car to get the cancellation prorated. We informed him that our daughter has send an email confirmation for the cancellation just 2 days after the contract was signed when the car had not even been delivered, thus it is not acceptable at all if they want to use the current mileage to prorate. Story short, after long argument he then checked the email correspondence and found our daughter confirmation thus agreed to "help" to forward the cancellation request to cancellation Dept. Wow.... it took almost 2 months to get a confirmation of contract cancellation, and were accused that we have not filing the cancellation properly. Be careful in signing any Maintenance or Protection Plus contract from MB. It looks minutes to sign in but 2 months for cancellation just to get proceed! In addition he said that it would need 3-9 weeks to get the refund. The worst cancellation experience ever!

3 1/2 stars There are quite a few pluses and minuses to this dealership experience. The overriding shining fact I was dealing withAMG sales person: Collin Flores: easy-going, low pressure, knowledgeable, no games. Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing for his Ally supervisor or finance team that was working that day. They wanted to use old car sales person tactics befuddlement to get me to commit and purchase add-ons which I did not want.I would have walked had it not been for Collin. Physically as expected the dealership is immaculate and beautiful.It seemed they wanted to use old car sales person tactics befuddlement to get me to commit. I would’ve walked out of there Collin was extremely helpful and save the day and I did purchase a vehicle from him. It was an AMG and they did have the car immaculate as expected.

I got a check engine light on my 2019 Sprinter on a Friday. I called for an appointment and they could work me in on Monday, first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, I had business meetings that would preclude me from bringing it in at that time. They said I could bring it in for a walk on on Saturday. I viewed this as very responsive. So I get to the dealership and am first inline in the service line. But to my dismay, they started processing people who had gotten there after me. I had to complain to finally get processed. I mean clearly, my vehicle was the very first in line and it is hard to miss a 4x4 Sprinter…. While I was being in processed, I asked about all the safety recalls on the vehicle and they could only work one. Not the dealer’s fault, but that just means another trip later. Then I asked about doing an upcoming A service. I was shocked at the price. Replacing wiper blades was $99. The major other elements were an oil change and fuel filter change… total price was $1000. Unbelievable for an oil change, a fuel filter change, and wiper blade replacement. They said they could eliminate the wiper blade change. Anyway, I will be going elsewhere for the service. That is just gouging. Oh and no replacement vehicle for a Sprinter, just their cars. Hmmm, second class citizen treatment. But they did pay for an Lyft ride home…. So they did nothing but park the vehicle on Saturday. I assume they were closed Sunday. It took them a day and a half to determine the fault (which was id’ed in a fault code in seconds… I had done it at home, literally in seconds), and then to troubleshoot and replace an O2 sensor. First off, why’d it take so long to plug in a code reader? Second, why so long to change out a sensor? Three, why did a sensor fail this early? They did wash the vehicle before returning it. Overall: dealing with the coordinator was a very pleasant experience. Getting me in quickly and accommodating my work schedule was a real plus. The experience in the drop-off line was infuriating. Feeling like a second class MB customer, no replacement vehicle, was not pleasant. The price for the regular service was ridiculous. And the amount of time to troubleshoot and replace the faulty sensor was excessive. The free car wash was nice.

I have to be honest. With a brand new car with 550 miles on it I am not expecting the car to be towed on a flat bed with a dead battery and there to be no timetable on when it would arrive. Anyone would be upset hearing that. I am not expecting to be dealing with a combative service rep Jackie Mohl who is barely giving me the time of day. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the battery arrives and they install it and I tell them not to wash it for fear of them scratching it. It is returned to me FILTHY with fingerprints and dirt still on the car as if it was on a mud road race....so I said "Go wash it" reluctantly. It comes out 35 minutes later in sunlight with fine scratches all over the paint. I was in shock I have to be honest. I left in a loaner again and left the car with them for them to detail. I picked it up 48 hours later cleaned yes but the scratches remained(black car). I don't know what type of towels they use there but they are not microfiber. I was upset naturally and spoke to April the Service Manager and she spoke to Mercedes USA and they finally agreed to let me get the car professionally detailed and scratches removed. Yes they paid for it but it was an agonizing 3 weeks with a BRAND NEW car. There is no way I can recommend this dealership. Calling me before this review to tell me to give them a great rating also a bad idea. Can you imagine being told what kind of rating to give a dealership? I have the car back yes and it is running yes and the scratches have been removed yes but I would not recommend getting your car washed there. I will say that April was nice but the Jackie Mohl Service Rep was not. I love my car but I am not happy with how the whole thing was handled. That was an AMG GLE53 Coupe 2021 Black fyi. The dealership would benefit greatly from buying their towels from Chemical Guys in Gardena which are the softest anywhere but I doubt they will nor listen to me.

I promptly received an email confirming my service advisors name in the time of my appointment. In the past, I have been very critical of the service department at Mercedes Benz of the South Bay. However my experience this time was very positive. Even though there was a significant "crunch" at the time I arrived, I got in and out reasonably quickly. Same experience with picking up the car. My only complaint is their inability to determine the cause of a slow leak in one of my tires that has been going on since date of purchase. I lose 2 to 4 pounds of pressure per week. From their explanation, it sounds like they are taking all the steps to find the cause, but the problem still continues.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I would give them a zero if I could. They kept my car for 13 days for basic service and auxiliary battery replacement. Service Rep never once initiated a call to update me. I had to call him. When my car was finally ready, I showed up the following day and still had to wait another 25 minutes while the Service Rep completed the paperwork that should have been completed the day before. I tried contacting the Service Manager, but had no success with that. I guess that makes sense. I will never set foot in that place again!

The vehicle was CPO but right after a week of purchase, it was sent to service for replacement of parts, break rotors, pads, blisters in upholstery etc. the vehicle remained with dealer for another 10-15 days and now it seems it’s overheating and I saw under hood insulation needs replacement and still awaiting on sales to provide me the mbrace account. This can’t be a CPO with just 20k miles on it for which I paid $46K plus.. My first Mercedes and I am disappointed 😞

A little tough on the front end of communication..called once for a quote on getting a service "A" done on my sprinter van. Person that I spoke with couldn't answer my question and referred me another service person. My call went to voice mail .I left my contact info and my question with who I was told was the " service manager". No call back. Called again a week later asked the same question, This time I was told the service "A" was appx 320.- Later I find out they only quoted the oil change and not the total service charge. Over 900.-. Little sticker shock. I was told my service advisor was Frank. To speak with him upon arrival. Day before I went in for the appointment I called and left a voice message with a question.. No call back. Went in for the appt, found out I had a new service person to work with.She was helpful and to the point. I was told she handled service for the sprinters. Should have started with her...I give her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5 stars . Don't have her name in front of me but she would be the reason I would go back.. Got her a coffee Bean gift card..

I had a service appointment yesterday. I had to wait 2 hours for the dealership to tell me they were backed up and wouldn’t be able to change the tires. After talking to the service director they finally decided they would change the tires. It took them 3.5 hours and could have taken 10 minutes. The service advisor was rude. They indicated they were busy but I looked around and most of the employees were standing around. My GLE AMG is a great car but my lease is up and I don’t want to own another car that needs to be serviced here. I have come here for service for 3.5 years and I am done.

I had an appointment at 9am for service. The advisor said I should have an estimate by 3pm. I didn't get a call around 3pm. So I called at 4pm and my advisor was not available. They said someone would me back within an hour, but no one called. I called back at 5 and still no response. I finally got a text back around 6 to say the mu car wasn't looked at and they would try tomorrow if I wanted to leave it. I left it and the next day I waited till about 2pm and still hasn't been looked at. So I just picked it up and will take it somewhere else.

Even if we didn’t get the car there at MB South Bay, the service department is always willing to help out. My service advisor, Brandi excels at what she does. When they needed the car for more than a day to look at an issue, Brandi set me up with a loaner. I actually didn’t expect this! Highly recommend. So glad I don’t have to drive to Newport Beach for everything MB related.

I called at 8 am and explained I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I was given a 9:20 am appointment. When I brought the car in at 9:20 am, I was told the agency would need the car for two hours, and that I?d get a phone call about the status of the tire. I received no phone calls. After three hours, I left messages with Steve, the manager, and my rep. Neither returned my calls. After 4 1/2 hours, my husband dropped me off at the dealership which is a 30 minute drive from our home. I learned that my car still had not been worked on, and I was then told even if I have a slow leak, the tired would need to be replaced. I decided to take my car at that time. So five hours later, and driving 30 minutes to and from my home twice, this being on the road 2 hours, I?m not happy with the Mercedes service department.

Service person's yell at you like I serve only one person at a time, and kicking the stuff around at the driveway. They won't contact you when your car is ready so you have to wait over the weekend to get your car back, without your car. It was not as bad as this back in 2013 and on, but it got so much worse and I planned to buy/lease our car from LA location and get service there from now on.

Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. They love you right up until they get your money. You can see my review of my sales experience and the total mishandling of my experience from the beginning on Google Reviews. But, now I am compelled to write more reviews. I have owned my Certified Preowned 2017 C43 AMG for a total of 22 days. 14 of those days it has been in the service department. I was so upset with the handling of my experience from the beginning, I was referred to speak to the General Manager. He or she did not feel the need to speak with me and asked a Sales Director to speak with me. He was very nice and reassured me this is not how they do business. I met with him in person when I returned my car to the service department for the second time in less than two weeks. Same problem both times. AC/heat not functioning properly. First time they assured me it was resolved. One week later I returned with exact same problem. I have owned this car for 22 days. 8 of those days it has been in the service department. A Certified Preowned! I inquired about the progress and was informed by service advisor the problem was resolved, but now my mechanic broke the “overhead trim cover” and they have had to order yet another part. Of course I called the Sales Director and left a message asking him to call me. No return call. Yet, when I met him in person 7 days ago when I dropped off my vehicle, he assured me he was personally going to be involved in this case so it is properly handled. I assume his idea of properly handling a situation is avoidance. I am a realist. I understand things happen. I do not understand this dealership’s stance on customer service. To understand the full scope of my displeasure with this dealership, please see my Google Review. This has been a menagerie of misleadings, bait and switch, poor management, deceit and absurd customer service from the beginning. I am at my wit’s end. Not sure of my next steps. But, please save yourself. There are other MB dealerships that are far more reputable. Go elsewhere!

Awfull response to problem with the used car we bougth from this dealer,2009 CLK 350,after driving it less than 105 miles the check engine light came on which was diagnosed as a left cylinder bank timing issues by my mechanic. Unfortunately the warranty was 5 days or 250 miles and this happen on the 7th day of ownership so we were told there was nothing they could do for us.We even ask if we could buy a more expensive car if they would take the problem car, but their answer was always the same a resounding NO

I've been having my car serviced at South Bay for the past 8 years and have always been very satisfies with the customer service and given a 5 rating. MY experience this time was not the same, I'm not talking about the repairs. I was not comfortable with customer service rep. he kept coming back with more repairs and not very customer-oriented, The previous service manager was very attentive to customers and made it a point to acknowledge you if he observed that you were waiting for a while. I met with the present service manager to review the bill since it was the highest I've ever paid, considering we're in a pandemic and I did not do much driving, I felt on the defensive the whole time. I'm very grateful and appreciative that my request to have the tab picked up for my wheel alignment was honored, which was not done during the initial repairs because the spare was on. While he agreed, no notes were left so when I tried to schedule and appointment and he was not available it was very uncomfortable trying to explain. I'm very satisfied with the repairs.

Horrible experience that gave me the impression that I am a victim to a bunch of money hungry scavengers who were looking for every tiny detail to increase the cost of the service. Also treated me with no respect as a loyal customer who has always paid leasing agreement on-time. Couldn't even give me a decent loaner vehicle that covers the length of repairs, but stretched the time to repair by adding more and more work to the work order.

I bought a GLB in December. I live in Az. I just received a temporary Az tag. 3 weeks after we bought the vehicle, I decided to call the dealership and inquire about license plates. Unbelieveably, they had not started the process of licensing the new vehicle. I had to talk with several employees until 1 actually knew what to do and got the ball rolling so we could get a temporary Az license tag. And that is just a taste of what went wrong.

LOL I've had my car a few months. This is the 3rd or 4th time it's been in for repairs. This time, I brought it in and the part that had been ordered was defective. Not sure how that happened but it would have been nice if this was noticed prior to me bringing my car in. Doesn't take away from the service provided by April. It was a smooth process, I went in for a routine service an the process was easy only drawback was I was promised a loaner car but because the work would take less than two hours they said they don?t give courtesy vehicles. This was new as I always have had a courtesy car. They should have told me that when I made the appointment.

I felt unwelcome. I went in for warranty work but did not get any explanation on the process or updates and car was not ready when I went to pick it up. Maybe rep was having a bad day but that should not be visited on the customer. I'll probably go back to the Buena Park location where I purchased the car as they are very friendly and professional.

My drop off appointment was at 8:20am yesterday. The service guy, Pablo was supposed to call my husband after diagnosis. I didn’t hear anything for 6 hours so I called Pablo at 2:33pm. He called me back in 10 min said he called my husband but my husband didn’t answer. When did he call my husband? AFTER I CALLED PABLO. So Pablo FORGOT to call and started telling me that I need to replace my passenger seatbelt and need to order the parts and it takes a few days blah blah blah... First of all, he FORGOT to call us and they did NOT do anything for 6 hours and telling me that I don’t get my car back for days. The quote for replacing the passenger seatbelt or buckle is $955. I asked him WHY I don’t use passenger seat almost never but it needs to replace before driver’s side. Also I said price is ridiculous. Pablo said “BECAUSE YOUR CAR IS OLD AND DOESN’T HAVE WARRANTY” ARE YOU KIDDING ME⁈ I am calling MB headquarter customer service today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Took my 2014 E350 in for an air conditioning issue. Was assigned Brad Parker as my service advisor. Brad went above and beyond and ordered a multipoint inspection which uncovered a few other significant issues that needed repair. I’m glad he was thinking of the car as a whole rather then just focusing on one item. Everything got handled smoothly under warranty. Much appreciated !

This may seem off-topic, I hope they consider getting rid of the tiny individual sized plastic water bottles they offer to customers and employees. Plastic is extremely damaging to the environment, and almost always ends up in landfill. I was bothered to see their employees drinking out of these bottles - i wish they would install a water filter instead, and people can bring in reusables. We must do all we can to help the environment, and this is such an easy thing to fix.

I was looking for glc lease and found good deal on southbay benz. I submitted my info and received one of sales persons. Due to work hour, i set 6pm appointment on Friday and he agreed that. So i went there and tried to meet him based on email conv and phone convo,Luke. I waited over 20min to meet him and came to me there is no appointments. Wow. Why i went there for no appointment. Anyhow, assigned Mina who explained and helped alot during test drive. Ok. I can take till this. After test driving, they gave an offer which is much higher than what I received thru edmunds. So I showed the numbers on the edmunds and they said they can’t do business with this price. I do not know it is from southbay benz, Benz finance, or edmunds. I decided not to have a biz with them and left. They are not ready to do a truthful business and I disappointed. I do not recommend this dealer. If you are willing to do, please be prepare carefully.

I had to take my car in for overdue service. The Person who assisted me was extremely well-mannered (sorry! Forgot his name). I was 25 min late for my scheduled app’t but it was not an issue. Waiting room had only about 5-6 chairs which were spaced a safe distance apart. Signs said the area was sanitized 2x daily. From the waiting room I could see that, besides washing my car, they also sanitized and disinfected the cars before returning them to the owners. I was impressed!

Received poor customer service on 2/13/2020. My car’s remote was not working properly ( mind you new battery replaced by South Bay MercedesBenz less than 2 weeks) I stopped in on my way to work to see if they could find out what the problem was? I was greeted by a gentleman that I guess works in the service department who was extremely Rude and Unprofessional. It was 7 am so, I guess perhaps it was to earlY for him and he hasn’t had his morning coffee. I was told since I didn’t have an appointment I would have to wait. That was ok with me because I was nervous driving the car. I was shortly seen by my usual advisor and was promptly told that I couldn’t be given a loaner car because he didn’t have any. I never said that I wanted a loaner. I only wanted the car to be looked at to see if there was some sort of electrical problem. I was told that the could look at the car and do a diagnostic test but it would take 2 hours. I said sure. I will call the Office to let them know what’s going on and I will be in later in the day. Well my 2 hour wait turned into 4.5. I was a bit upset because I felt that since they weren’t making any money off me I was being treated poorly. Well I had already pay for such service work because when I purchased the car in April 2017 I purchased the 5 Star Maintenance plan. So, it wasn’t like they were working on my car for free. Nevertheless, this experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and without a doubt I will make the drive to Beverly Hills where I purchased the car. I used South Bay because they are minutes away from where I live and in the past the service was 6 star. I repeat I feel like because I have the 5 star maintenance plan and I not spending any money my service & treatment is Sub Par

HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Took my SL63 in for an estimate. I was told it would be close to $17,000 to fix an engine problem. Yep. You read that right. Had the car towed elsewhere. It was fixed for less than $5000. I wish I would say this was an isolated incident. The woman in service I have now worked with twice (I’ll spare her the embarrassment by not using her name), is incompetent. Rarely answers her phone, was never there when I dropped the car off in the past or picked it back up (she’s always “at lunch” and I had follow up repeatedly just to get information). She also couldn’t explain how this engine problem had happened when I had paid $3500 for a full service check of the vehicle less than a year ago and the car had been driven less than 50 miles since then. Scheduled a pickup day and time after the expensive “check up,” and was told it came with car wash. She forgot to schedule it. All around, absurdly overpriced, tedious, and unprofessional. I will never bring a vehicle here again, and would strongly urge other Mercedes owners to look elsewhere for service needs.

If you’re used to receiving excellent service then this may not be the place you come to expect that. Picked up my car, on a rainy day mind you, after having all four of my tires replaced. I did not expect a full wash or even half a wash. What I did expect was for the techs to wipe, scrub, wash away the white grease from my rims and new tires. Furthermore, I expected my service advisor to notice that before handing me my keys. I refused my car and they cleaned my tires but why do I need to request it??

The shopping was ideal. I came in for a particular car but was shown a better deal for myself. The financing department was quick as I picked the Additional insurances I was offered. Our salesperson was Emily. She was energetic and knowledgeable. She was very thorough with explaining the car's features and invited us back for a review and Questions we encountered during the first several days of ownership. I felt they were honest and caring. My MBEnZ GLE is 2018 with 22000 plus mileage. I went for service due to a noise when breaking. There was no warning light noted on my dashboard. I brought it to MBEnZ SB to check (dashboard warning light for service or for anything was not on dashboard). The break pads are worn out and metal to metal. This is factory defect. My expectation of MBEnZ brake pads are longer than that. I have to pay for the parts to replace a worn out metal to metal brake pad in less than 2 years and 22000 mileage. Quality improvement is needed on MBEnZ break pads!!!

In August I got my 5th Mercedes from this dealership and what a bad, bad, bad experience. They don't care at all (not at all) about their customers. I won't rant here... I've taken it up with a few sales managers at the dealership - but they don't care either. I've been a loyal customer for 15+ years - but apparently that means nothing to this company. My experience with the service representative, Brad Parker was not pleasant. Since it was my first visit, I did not know how things are handled there. I waited over 5 hours in the lobby to find out that my car will not be available to me until later that afternoon. I was there from 7:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. and I had to confront Brad before he let me know that he will call me to tell me when my car will be ready for pick up. I went to him 4 times to find out the status of my car and when it will be available. He always answered me with "I don't know". He made me wait in the lobby and said he will check on it to let me know but never came back to tell me. He seemed more preoccupied with other things in his computer than to help me. I watched what he was doing in his computer and noticed what he was doing did not look like it was work related. He appeared to have a big stack of paper on his desk but I did not see him touch any of them while I was there. This is true to the Sales team as well. I wanted to test drive a couple of their cars because I wanted to buy a new one. I was told by the Sales Guy that he will not be there on Monday to help me but he will ask someone else to do it for him. I went there and I was told he did not call anyone. His name is Yohan. Did not get his last name. I waited a while but was told that Yohan did not call anyone to cover for him. I have owned Mercedes-Benz (MB) cars and been driving them for over 20 years. I have always taken my car to get serviced where I bought my car at but never experienced such a terrible thing until I went to MB of South Bay. I am afraid that if this is the way they treated me on my first visit, I wonder how they will treat me in the future if I buy my car there. The staff there need training in customer service. Sorry I usually don't give unpleasant reviews but I have to do this. I will not recommend Mercedes-Benz of South Bay to anyone.

Marc was the best! He patiently helped my daughter get into the right car. He helped us figure out what would be best and find a used car with very low mileage, great ratings and within our budget. Although we met him at the Ford store down the street, he was able to pull from the inventory there. We went to the Ford store on our first day of shopping, then visited two other dealerships where the other sales people made us feel like we were unimportant. So we went back to Marc. The other staff were welcoming, and the finance manager was efficient, accurate and personable. The car was in great condition having been thoroughly inspected and detailed. I was having problems with my transmission jerking in 3rd gear. I made an appointment with Torrance Mercedes and was given a loaner. I was given an estimate on when I would hear from them and it was pretty accurate. I was contacted in a couple days and was told my auxiliary pump went out and was given an estimated time my vehicle would be ready. The problem was fixed and at my promised time. The staff was very professional and provided the up most customer satisfaction. Thank you for making my experience smooth. Thank God for extended warranties!!!!!

-5 stars Mercedes Benz of South Bay is an embarrassment to the brand of Mercedes Benz. Babak Vahedi is a so call service rep let me tell you about this guy, he made an appointment with my insurance Co. and when I brought my car to him he didn’t even had the part my car needed, he wouldn’t even shake my hand after he wrote the paperwork I had to extend my arm and hand and shake his. After a second appointment the following week and all of the service was done a (new windshield) they informed me that they wouldn’t be taking my $500.00 deductible they needed the whole amount and they wouldn’t work with my insurance company to resolve this issue so they kept my car hostage for six days until I was able to pay the whole amount. Going back to Mr Vahedi he wanted to charge me $200.00 for a simple reset in the system so the message change the battery fob will reset it self.

I had called SouthBay Mercedes dealer and was directed to sale person named Hassan. I was looking for a GLC350E in specific needes and Hassan told me the colors he had at South Bay and where I can find GLC350E with the color and spec. After searching in the internet, my husband and I decided to drive over to the South Bay dealer from Irvine. Once we arrived, We met Hassan who showed us the car he had. Even though the interior color was not my first choice and lacking the distronic plus assist upgrade, after test drive, we fell in love with the car and ended purchasing the car. Our experience with Hassan was no nonsense and straight forward. He Was very pleasant, knowledgeable about the car and most of all gave us no pressure to buy the car. He was “sincere” and helpful which is critical when you are making a such expensive purchase.

Over the course of my life I have worked with many different dealerships in the pursuit of purchasing a new vehicle. I have to say that my experience at Mercedes-Benz of South Bay was the most pleasant, easy, and smooth experience I have ever had! From the moment we called to schedule an appointment to test drive a new E 300 , we were treated with the utmost courtesy. From start to finish Edward Twum, the gentleman who worked with us to get this vehicle, was exceptional in how he communicated and listened to our needs and concerns. He treated us with kindness and understanding and helped us get into our new vehicle. I cannot stress enough just how helpful, friendly and professional Edward was with us. Tom in the Finance department was a great as well and was a pleasure to work with in arranging the terms of the vehicle. In summary , over my 25+ years of working with dealerships in purchasing vehicles, this was the best experience I have ever had. I have no complaints about my time spent with Edward and the rest of the employees at the dealership. I live over 80 miles away from Mercedes-Benz of South Bay and I would easily make the trip again if i ever needed anything from them

I drove into Mercedes-Benz of Torrance almost at 5 o'clock with a flat tire that was not repairable all or most of the mechanic said Lyft and I was able to get my car in and out within an hour.

The employees at Mercedes-Benz Southbay were all extremely friendly, polite and professional. I have purchased other vehicles in the past but the service I received at Mercedes was phenomenal. I would now consider myself a 'lifetime' customer. Thanks again! :)

The sale agent - Emily Anderson is very attentive, understanding and work with my needs and requests even some are quite silly. No pressure me to buy a car, she ensure I found the car that I truly like. The support team was great as well. I can prepare everything over the phone and online. From the time I come to the dealer to the time I bring my new car home is 1 hour.

Worst dealership ever! I took my car for service. I also informed them that there was a light that was on and that it has to be fixed. They charged me for diagnostics and then later charged me extra to get the problem fixed. After keeping my card for more then 6 weeks I got my car back and paid them $1093.78. Nothing was done. The car light is still on and the car is driving worse now. Stay away from this dealership. I am in the process of contacting MBZ Corporate about this delaer, informing the media and possibly taking them to small claims court.

Our sales Tyler and Derek made it really easy for us to get my new gle. Tyler was super prompt in responding to my texts even late at night, and we were really impressed when he got out of his way to help us get the car we wanted from another dealer by himself so that we didn't have to wait for another day. He stayed late to help us finish the finance paperwork after the three hour driving of the car from another city. All in all, it was a pleasant experience getting it done over such a short period of time and I'd definitely come back after my current lease is done.
