OVERPRICED! I came here last year for my routine service and they charged me $2,000+ and I went to other dealer they didn't charge me a dime. This year I came here again for my service (just because its so close to my office) they tried to charge me again for over $2,200 saying they have to open my transmission (for only 40K mileage car??) plus oil change?? The service guy doesn't even check my car nor, know what will be included in the service and ask for $2,200 from me which is ridiculous. Save your time go check with other dealer, this place is a BIG TIME SCAM.

The service was great. Sonia was the one who helped me get my truck checked out from the recall. She was great she made me feel really comfortable there. The only thing is I wish they would have told me about the complimentary car wash I had just detailed my truck it costed me $500 and it wasn?t supposed to be machine washed only hand wash so due to that there is now small scratches on my hood. I appreciate the nice gesture I just wish it would have change been mentioned to me but overall great.

Honestly I was really interested in getting this car but they wouldn’t let me see it or test drive it until I filled out all the paperwork which made absolutely no sense that should have been my red flag. The car did not come with any mats so fine moving on, drove it home Monday night did not use it until Wednesday and come to find out the horn doesn’t work. Honestly it’s been a nightmare since I live so far from the dealer. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional hung up a phone call for no reason. The sales reps who initially sold the vehicle kept promising follow ups and I was the one having to call it’s so crazy. I brought it in for service and they could not fix it, they tried to sell me into a more expensive vehicle but honestly I wasn’t even offered any type of discount for my troubles. I was so upset that this was missed since it’s a safety issue. I told them to fix it and the service department technician I was assigned to was upset and said to me that the part and labor was extremely expensive and that the car sale wouldn’t even be worth it. Like man I’m sorry this was missed at inspection but somehow this is my fault? It’s been a nightmare, it’s back at the dealership waiting for it to be fixed, the only reason I give them 2 stars is because they ended up providing me with a rental. Maybe for a new car purchase but used cars I’ll think about it and it sucks because I bought at a dealer just because “they inspect” the cars. So to my luck I guess!

Had notification for recall repair and was set up for an appointment. Was dealt with promptly on day of appointment, and the repair was done in the amount of time estimated, including a multi-point inspection and a complimentary car wash! No additional work or service was suggested, which was nice, as I did not think my car was due to have any other work done. Also eceived a brief video by text showing recall repair that was done!

Sonia Gonzalez needs to work on her interpersonal skills with customers. I understand she's busy, but that shouldn't impede her ability to listen and take the time to ensure that my service-related questions are answered. She had a bit of negative attitude and body language, and it was clear that she was done with me and moving on to her next customer. I felt incredibly rushed throughout the beginning and end of my interaction with her. She got up and left while I was still reviewing the service invoice and asking for clarification on certain line items about the multi point inspection results. Is that the kind of behavior Mercedes Benz expects from a service advisor? Being busy is NO excuse. She also told me it would be a 1 hour wait and it ended up being over 2 hours. Setting proper expectation levels is also an important part of dealing with customers.

Bought a used car in August and noticed some issues with the suspension and the throttle. Brought it in to be checked, left it there (got a loaner), and picked it up about two weeks later (parts had to be ordered from Germany). Communication was great at all times and the car drives so much better now. Great job all around.

When I first got my benz I gave them a good review but the following month I discovered that Mercedes Benz of south bay has a fraudulent way of getting there innocent customers pay for what they did not signed for. my case I signed 36months of lease on my negotiation worksheet but on the agreement they change it to 48months. Be sure to check your car over many times before leaving the service center. Found damage to the car and it was pulling teeth for them to do the right thing. Service director was unapologetic about it and it shouldn't have had to be a haggling process for them to make it right. Found 3 issues before I left with the car. Only acknowledged one. When I got home found another scratch that wasn't there before I dropped the car off. Too frustrating to work with the service advisor. I'm searching for an alternate route to resolve this damage. Edit: Called the number in the reply. It was just the general phone number that took me to the automated operator.

Our Salesman Daniel was wonderful and we so appreciated his knowledge of the car as we test drove it. He didn’t make it feel like a shell and he took a great care of us. I would give him five stars. I’m only leaving 3 stars on this review because then when we got to finance it felt like a shell game and we are sales-tricked into $10,000 in warrantees! And we kept saying no to the warrantees but he talked us into them allegedly offering better deals… Be careful to make sure you ask what the final bottom line is of purchase tax title and warranties . This was not shown to us and it was late at night and we had been there for hours and all they kept showing us was the the monthly payment. Apparently a standard trick of the trade. Silly of us but it was smoke and mirrors and we kept saying no to the warrantees and he kept offering us allegedly better deals on the warranties - but really all he did was extend our payments to 72 months which brought down the monthly of course and tricked us into $10,000 in warranties. Again we didn’t notice this until we got home and looked at the paperwork a week later…we now need to get out of. So be careful make sure you ask to see the total breakdown before you sign!… and you look at the total final cost of the car. I still can’t believe that my partner and I did not do this it is not like us but again it felt like a bamboozling shell game late at night. So upsetting on what could’ve been a five-star experience.

Over the past 3 months I have had the worst experience ever. My car was in an accident and my insurance company covered my financial claim to have repairs fixed at SouthBay Mercedes of Torrance, Ca. During the three months my car was in their possession I experienced the worst communication and attitude ever with their Service Center employee. Mercedes has always provided the highest level of customer service for any auto inquiry in the past.This particular employee would find all the reasons to say NO , before she would consider a yes. The Manager mirrored the same negative attitude, but thankfully the Director stepped in and made the situation right. I’m going to Long Beach next time, although I’m only a few minutes from Torrance.

Mercedes Bens reminded me of my maintenance appointment, and my service agent, Pablo, immediately booked an early morning app within two days and on the day I requested which was very convenient. I was given a Mercedes loaner car and Pablo texted me in the afternoon to go pick it up. Everything was done professionally. Pablo is exceptional. He is the best Mercedes agent in all my years. I have been visiting this dealership for over 20 years for the service on my many MBZs. This I the FIRST time that I was very disappointed with the result of their work. I brought my vehicle in for a problem with an error message on the dashboard. My vehicle is a 2022 E450 with only 2,700 miles on it and 7 months of age. The error message is "TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE - CAMERA VIEW RESTRICTED". The car was left for 7+ days and the technicians said we needed a new camera lens in front which was installed. After picking up the vehicle, the same error message occurred within five miles of the dealership. Now I must deal with the same process of giving up my vehicle for another several days. Hopefully, the technicians will get it RIGHT this time.

My new GLB was experiencing some chirping and we mentioned this when we brought it in for an oil change. Frank P. was our advisor and said the techs didn’t hear it that day, but asked us to please bring it back so we could leave it overnight and they could investigate the issue further. frank was very committed to making us happy and they were able to find & fix the noise! Normally, mechanics just say, “yep, sorry, didn’t hear anything, nothing is wrong” and send you home. MB of SB was very committed to my satisfaction, so 5 stars, Frank!

My go-to for all my MBZ needs and issues. I’m always received by a friendly staff member, whether by appointment or drop-in. I book with my service advisor, Amilcar, who has been excellent every time: friendly, happy, interested in what I need, and works quickly to get me back in my car. I unknowingly left my wallet in my car for the whole day and when I came back to pick up my car, it was on the seat, untouched! Not all dealerships are as friendly or honest! Purchased my S550 8 years ago and have only taken my car to this Torrance dealer for all service. (My prior Mercedes was purchase from the same dealer and they did all service on that car also.) This time the car was there for over 48 hours with no communication from my service advisor. I called repeatedly and left messages for him to return my call because I needed my car for Friday night and the weekend. No response. I called and asked to speak with the Service Manager or the head of the dealership because I was unhappy and was told they were both in meetings but one would call me back. That never happened. Finally I was able to get through to my service advisor Brad Parker and he said "diagnostics" was what took so long and that my car was taken out of the queue while wating for the diagnostics to start. What?? I could have brought my car back for a later scheduled time and not waited 48+ hours. Finally $1300 later and at 5:30 p.m. I got my car in time to make my Friday night engagement. Also, I wanted the automatic high beams checked because they do not go off when cars are approaching. Brad said the dial was not turned to "Auto" and that was the easy fix for the problem. BUT now the dial is positioned correctly and the high beams do not go off as they once did when cars approach. Not worth it to me to go back for this problem and have the dealership keep my car again for 48+ hours. My confidence in this dealership's service department has certainly diminished. I guess the bottom line is that when you purchase a Mercedes you are buying a high performance prestige car but you are also expecting a higher level of service and professionalism for all after-purchase encounters. I am not happy with what happened this time.

Used car department play games and their finance department is worse!!! A gang of sharks looking for pray. I bought a pre-owned vehicle just recently and when the first monthly payment slip came in, it was almost $50 more monthly, than agreed on. I called the dealer for a week about the matter and finally 2 weeks later the finance director Guillermo contact me saying that what I signed is exactly that amount. I explained to him that I have signed papers showing a different amount in front of me. He said he would contact me back, but then Jeromy Leon contacts me, which is the scum finance person I sat with to sign the finance papers, saying he didn’t understand what happen. He also said that the difference was because of the overall length/term of the loan, that it was only about $30 bucks off, and that I would pay the car off quicker on these terms. I responded, this loan is not what I agreed too, the dollar amount difference was never agreed or accepted by me and that I wasn’t looking for financial advice. Their solution to resolve this, was running my credit again. I assume a refinance, which first off I don’t trust you with my credit anymore, I can always do this on my own, but more importantly it will affect my credit. What scam are you trying to run here? I have signed paper work saying one thing but your system says another?? Since they haven’t offered a real solution and I’ve waited weeks, I had to hire an attorney to represent me. We’ll see what a judge has to say about it all and go after their licenses for defrauding customers! Oh and please don’t respond with your false “Please call our General Manager at (310) 513-5300 for ways we can work towards resolving these issues” you guys don’t care to resolve anything.

Unfortunately it took many emails, text messages and phone calls to get in touch with anyone who could give me an estimate before I brought my car in. Once it was ready, the checkout process with the service advisor was very smooth, then they made me wait over half an hour while they "washed and dried" my car, knowing I was in a hurry, and it was RAINING (so drying it made no sense). They tried, but missed the mark completely.

I came in for an airbag recall on my w204 and came back to my car not working. Natalie did not help me out at all and was just blaming the issue on me. They were charging a $300 diagnostic fee so instead I got my car towed to my mechanic where we found an ignition issue. How do you replace an airbag and then cause an ignition issue to the car when it was working perfectly fine when I brought it in? Just low class professionalism displayed by natalie, I was not offered anything in compensation but instead was blamed for the issue on my car.

I appreciate the thoroughness of Mercedes SouthBay. When bringing my car in for regular maintenance, they found there were two recalls that also needed to be dealt with. One needed the parts to be ordered so they had my car a couple days extra but it was not a problem as they provided a loaner car. I've been taking my cars to this dealership for many years and have always had a good experience.

Had to reschedule my service appointment from 1/27/23 to 1/28/23. Due to my wife needed a loaner car. They asked my wife if she wanted to wait?! It would be at least or around “3” hours for a Oil & point inspection. By doing so the lady told me that next appointment date was not until mid April?! I then had her transfer me to a service manager April (very kind) in which there was no problem whatsoever on rescheduling!! “3” month wait for a B1 Oil service & inspection?? Really “NOT ACCEPTABLE”!!

Scheduled a service for my fiancé’s vehicle and was asked if we would wait at the dealership for the vehicle. We decided we would. When we arrived there, our service advisor was not there and then we were told the vehicle wouldn’t be ready until the following day due to the time of the appointment and many vehicles. If the late appointment was not going to have the vehicle ready the same day, the advisor should have communicated this prior to the date. Luckily, Cliff helped us and got us an Uber back home.

I do not normally leave reviews especially when it is not good, but I had a really bad experience when I bought a car at this dealership. They have the WORST customer service and staffs are NOT friendly! I want to warn other people. 1. They tried to screw me over with the higher rate (6.59%- dealer rate) when I had over 780 credit score saying it was the best rate they could offer and that I would need to get a refinance on my car after the first payment to get a lower rate. (I went to BofA directly and got 4.69%- when I told them I would get the loan directly from them, they then offered me 4.59%) Not only that, They lied about sending a rate quote to 3 major banks to get me the best rate. But my credit report only showed 1 credit inquiry from Wells fargo which meant they only sent it to one major bank. 2. They tried to rip me off with an additional financing charges. ** You need to look at the contract very carefully. Ask them to print out the documents and go over every items. They will put wrong numbers and misc. charges that you can simply miss if you don’t look carefully. And this is review re: SERVICE DEPT My car was having some issues 2 months after I bought the car. so I took it to the service dept and was scheduled to pick it up a week after. I was supposed to pick up my car at 8:40 in the morning. Got there 10mins early and by the time I picked up my car and left the dealer was 12:30pm. I got no sincere apology from anyone when I complained about the waiting time. No one explained to me what was done, my car was just left outside on the parking area. My whole experience with this dealer has been so TERRIBLE AND AWFUL. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE!

To begin, my car has been in at this dealer for a sunroof/sunscreen repair a total of 4 different times within 6 months. Each time I have gotten the car back, I was assured that the issue had been resolved, but in each instance, I found myself back at the dealership because the “repair” had failed. Every time I have gone to the dealership to either drop off or pick up the car, it has taken a minimum of 2 hours of my day. If my issue had been properly resolved on the first visit, this time would have been nothing in the grand scheme of things. However, the lack of a successful resolution of my issue has resulted in a significant amount of inconvenience to my personal time (currently up to 8 hours and counting). Beyond that, each time my car was returned to me there was debris from the repair all over my interior, tools left on the front seats, and filthy smudges on multiple interior windows. On the final return, I even found a cigarette lighter on my passenger seat. To add insult to injury, when I came to pick up the car after the FOURTH sunroof repair, I (not the dealer rep) found a deep scratch on the driver’s side door that had to be fixed before I could take the car home. At this point, my car has been torn apart so many times that I am extremely worried about excessive wear on the components that needed to be gone through in order to fix my roof. And even more so, I am scared to use my sunroof for fear that it will fail again. After how many times “repairs” have been performed, I really shouldn't have to feel that way, but I do. My service writer was always very helpful and apologetic and did her best to keep me updated on the progress or lack thereof, but that good customer service does not make up for the overall bad experience I have had each time I have visited this dealer.

I have impossible expectations for dealers to meet when buying a car, because, unfortunately, I worked in this business. After selling only a couple hundred cars, I got out of the car sales gig, but the stench was hard to wash off. Now I'm very sensitive to even the slightest whiff of shady business practices, and I find any interaction that's less than transparent, honest, and straightforward to be so aversive, I have a really hard time finding someone I will work with. That is until I ran into Hasan at South Bay Benz. Hasan was accommodating, easy to work with, up front, and transparent throughout the entire process. He anticipated my concerns, offered creative solutions, and never once set off my shady sales radar. He made the deal happen and facilitated the entire transaction from my internet inquiry to delivery. In finance, Mar was just as delightful to work with. Again, she also offered only options and products that might confer some benefit to me, and her suggestions were tailored to my unique situation and the type of car I was buying. She also suggested creative solutions to my concerns and earned my trust quickly (this is not easy). Jason (sales manager) was also nothing short of professional and easy to communicate with, and Mike was kind enough to help with delivery the next day. Both are assets to the business. In the end, I drove a total of 11 hours over 2 days get the car my wife wanted. I'm delighted that Hasan, Mar, Jason, and Mike made the transaction pleasurable and worth the drive. (l can't believe I would call any car deal "pleasurable," but good people are good people, even if you find them in car dealership).

I had an appointment for an oil change and was told it could take more than a day as the parts were not there even though I had the appointment which they had time to get parts, the service advisor said they don't get parts until the vehicle is there. I was told I would receive a call once the parts arrived so I could take my vehicle back and I never received a phone call. I had to pay for another place to do it even though I have prepaid oil changes with AutoNation. I informed a service manager a couple weeks later as I still hadn't received a call and was told to make future appointments with her which I did for the next oil change. I went in on my appointment day and was told it would be a few hours even though I had an appointment. I was told an appointment was just to drop the vehicle off not for the service. I received a call 6 hours later to pick up my vehicle. 6 hours for an oil change is unacceptable even if there are 6 vehicles ahead of me (which is what I was told). Once I received my vehicle, the paperwork said that oil maintenance light was reset but it wasn't as I had to reset it myself.

The whole process took almost 4 hours. A little long would you not say also. However, everybody was extremely pleasant and polite and courteous and professional, but 4 hours is still too long………. Update………………Since the GM reached out to my post and left a phone number to call, I tried to contact him 2 days in a row and left messages and was told he would call me back within a few hours but unfortunately he never did.

I had an appointment for an oil change and was told it could take more than a day as the parts were not there even though I had the appointment which they had time to get parts, the service advisor said they don't get parts until the vehicle is there. I was told I would receive a call once the parts arrived so I could take my vehicle back and I never received a phone call. I had to pay for another place to do it even though I have prepaid oil changes with AutoNation. I informed a service manager a couple weeks later as I still hadn't received a call and was told to make future appointments with her which I did for the next oil change. I went in on my appointment day and was told it would be a few hours even though I had an appointment. I was told an appointment was just to drop the vehicle off not for the service. I received a call 6 hours later to pick up my vehicle. 6 hours for an oil change is unacceptable even if there are 6 vehicles ahead of me (which is what I was told). Once I received my vehicle, the paperwork said that oil maintenance light was reset but it wasn't as I had to reset it myself.

Tires cam back deflated when it was supposedly checked. The car was dirty inside and out. I hope they did do all the service. I’m going to check at a local garage and see if they did do it. For $1000, these guys are not the ones to go to.

As a first time owner of a certified perpendicular 300 GLC, I did feel as if my questions regarding a B1 service after fewer than 6,000 miles were driven on a newly certified MB. I received a phone call from from MB to inquire about my level of satisfaction with the service appointment. When I voiced concern about the experience, I was told I would receive a follow up call from a service manager. It?s now been 72 hours since that call, and no one has contacted me.

I just recently had my vehicle serviced here and their service department is amazing! Emily was my service advisor and she is one of the best you can have to help you with whatever needs your cars has. Emily is beyond terrific she is very pleasant to deal with and makes the process of booking seamless. She is very knowledgeable about the timing and service your car needs and she is was very helpful and will answer all concerns you may have,she was also very thorough with keeping me updated on the status of my car throughout the duration of the time it was there! She made me feel my car was in good care and took the time to follow up with me. My Mercedes was towed in for a failed ignition switch, ABS and tire pressure sensor. The car sat for a week and they didn't offer a loaner. They determined the problem was the ignition switch and it took a week to get the part. They tested the car and determined another part was needed to resolve the problem. Their method to is keep changing parts until the car function and are NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE the problem. The access panels were not replaced along with other parts not reattached. The Tire Pressure is not working and now sunroof is not working properly.

Updated 12/26 Went in today after April the service manager told me they wanted to fix the issue, she told me I wouldn’t have to wait long and it’d be done by the end of the day. Came in and was told they “don’t know when it’ll be ready” Brad helped and tried to get April to meet with me in person but she was unresponsive. This branch is full of irresponsible adults who don’t know how to have integrity and don’t keep their words on situations that need servicing. Not wasting my time here anymore. I had an appointment with Sonia 12/8 to get my car serviced, had no issue getting in as it was at 7am. The same day I was told that it would need a few more things but would be ready by 12/9. 12/9 comes and I go to return the rental (from Midway)that I had to request (they didn’t offer it at all). They tell me it will be ready Monday afternoon 12/12. Monday turns into Tuesday which turns into Thursday. I got another rental from the dealership themselves for this time, the car was extremely dirty, clearly not cleaned out from the previous drivers and stains /spills all over. 12/15 I FINALLY get to pick up my car, I won’t complain about price because it’s expected taking it to the dealership however, I paid for an alignment, oil change, full service check including lights and fuses. Alignment was not done correctly, oil change was average, lights that burned out were not fixed, they left a dirty rag in the car when I picked up too. The whole time Sonia did not answer any of my phone calls for updates and instead I had to go over to be told when my car would be finished (which was never accurate). I emailed her about the alignment the day after pick up and still no response, any response from her was two days after the initial text. I do not recommend going here if you have something more than an oil change especially servicing with Sonia. Take your money elsewhere, I’ll be going to the one in Long Beach from now on.

Customer service is always good. However, the loaner car experience was horrible. MB didn’t have any vehicles available so had to use Midway. Noticed inside was a little dirty but I was only going to have it for about 4 hrs. Went to the store & as I was putting my packages in the car I was able to see all of the filth. Trash, food & dog hair everywhere. I immediately returned the car & a replacement was given. However, there is no way that vehicle should have been given to anyone. Worst loaner vehicle service since being a MB customer from 2019.

My ML350 was brought to South Bay Mercedes on 9/2/2022 as a result of an attempted theft of my catalytic converters. The local police department helped me to facilitate a flatbed tow given there was much debris found under my vehicle and it was unclear as to what damage was done to the undercarriage. The car was delivered to South Bay Mercedes for repairs. My vehicle was inspected nearly a week after it was delivered. The mechanic created an estimate for repairs and stated that I was lucky that the catalytic converters were not stolen. The exhaust system was damaged in the attempted theft. Approximately $1,400 was estimated for the repair. My insurance adjuster inspected the vehicle within days, met with their mechanic, took pictures, and authorized the repairs as recommended by their service department. I was advised parts needed to be ordered and I would be notified when they arrive, however they would be keeping my car because it was undriveable. The service representative assigned did not keep me apprised of the status, therefore I would follow-up with them every few weeks for an update. Nearly a month had gone by, and I was advised by their service manager that there were issues obtaining the parts because of the supply chain on going dilemma. There was an ETA for the parts noted for ?10/25?. After this date I follow-up with service for an update on the parts and repairs. This carried on for another few weeks. When I finally reached a person, I was advised the parts were still not received, and they did not have a new ETA. I again attempted follow-up with the service manager who did not return my calls. I reached out to the general manager on or about 11/22 and was advised that I could follow-up with him anytime should I not receive communication from his staff. The next day I received a call from the service manager who said that the parts had still not been received but would keep me advised. I asked if they could do a temporary repair, so that I could have use of my vehicle and he stated that he would investigate this option and get back to me. On 11/28, I called the service manager several times and finally reached him. He stated that he looked under my vehicle with a mirror and did not see any damage and there was nothing wrong with my vehicle, I could come pick it up. I though surely that this amateur inspection was inaccurate, given I was advised by the tow truck driver that he could see the damages, and pictures showed the damages taken the day of the incident, their mechanic diagnosed the problems that needed repair, and he also inspected the vehicle with my insurance adjuster, and I was awaiting parts for 3 months. But now, 11/28, my vehicle has no damages? I had my vehicle removed from this facility and had the damages addressed elsewhere. I cannot begin to express my dissatisfaction with the way this entire incident was handled. I reached out to the general manager once more and he has not returned my calls. As a result of this incident, I do not recommend this dealership for service: 1. They did not perform adequate customer service for updates or even return calls. 2. They self-claim to have misdiagnosed the damage to my vehicle and apparently advised of a $1,400 repair that did not need to be performed. 3.They kept my vehicle for 3 months for no reason creating a loss of its use. 4. The dealership has no apology made, nor concern for what they have done. I did not feel that my vehicle was in the car of a Mercedes dealership, rather a mickey mouse operation. Being a Mercedes family all my life, I was blown away by the lack of regard, professionalism, and courtesy I received. I have been in the market for a newer model, but I can assure you as a result of this incident, it will not be purchased at South Bay Mercedes.

I thought we were too far apart on price but Duvier kept working on my behalf until the management team gave me a very good price for my trade and knocked off whatever they could on the price of my new car. I had a VW Atlas. Now, I have a 2023 GLE 350 and I couldn't be happier! Thank you!!!

I made a service appointment online with Mercedes Benz of South Bay easy enough, no technical issues. I had a major service done requiring me to leave my car overnight and get a loaner, which was also a pleasant transaction. I make these points because Covid has made it painfully difficult to take care of common service needs. But not here. Customer service was top notch - Jacqlyn always provides the best customer experience, and service of my car was exceptional as usual. I really like that they provide a video of the mechanic’s inspection so you know exactly what’s good and what needs attention before moving forward with additional repairs, etc.

I would've given 5 stars however, I was not happy with the car loaner I was provided. When I made my appointment I requested a loaner for the days that my car will be servicing. The loaner that was given was not what I expected. I have been driving Mercedes and been with Mercedes South Bay for over 10years and never had to drive a loaner other then a Mercedes. I feel that as a loyal customer and Mercedes Benz owner, I should have been given a Mercedes for a loaner and nothing less.

I am sad to say it was a terrible experience. The agents are not welcoming. I’ve received service in the past and I was told the issue with my car would be resolved. In less than a year that turned out to be false and other issues arises. They didn’t want to take responsibility and want to extort more money that’s hard to believe. I am getting the service needed from an independent service center with a much cheaper price. Even with all the money they charge they don’t want to guarantee their work. They’re dishonest and cannot he trusted. I won’t recommend their service to anyone.

It’s been such a great experience, originally I saw the car on Carfax and I asked if the car was still available, they responded to me right away, they called me next day and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. I came in for an oil change. Got additionally a tire rotation and car wash + vacuum as a bonus. It took about an hour and a half from drop off to pick up. I worked on my laptop and sipped hot chocolate in the lounge meanwhile. There is a nice work station, WiFi and coffee bar.

Love my Merc but AVOID this dealership! Not sure how they sleep at night! We were very clear of the options we wanted on our car. Ordered the car which took 7 months to arrive which is fine. Checked in with Collin Flores, their salesperson to confirm spec and etc throughout the 7 months. Day the car arrived, the upgrade at the top of our list which he knew super well was missing. He did not tell us anything. He had every opportunity to be upfront and let us decide to take it or leave. Fails to do so. We were so easy with him considering he messed up on some numbers and stuff (not going into details, not relevant here). We noticed the upgrade was missing the next day, reached out to him. He apologized and said the factory never notified them but didn't offer to resolve things. We felt we deserved a bit more than an apology. Why? We literally waited 7 months for this one option or else we would have taken the 2022 model versus the 2023. He then goes on to ignore our gentle outreaches. 3 weeks later, I get a hold of his Manager, Jason. Jason lets out of the bag that him and Collin actually discussed that the option was missing the day we signed but this was NOT communicated to us. Says he'll make this right and will do whatever he can...another 3 weeks goes by...ignores all emails and messages. We reach out and get a hold of Hector, another Sales Manager. He said 100%, I will get a call back today... 3-4 days go by. I finally get a hold of their Head Sales Manager. Nice person and was at least upfront with us, but the best she offered was something from their merch store...really? In short, losing the upgrade and waiting 7 months for it sucked. But, they should have been honest and let us decide to move forward with the car or not at signing. Instead, they really unnecessarily ruined our first experience with Mercedes by: 1) Not being upfront 2) Lying that the factory didn't tell them 3) First salesperson ghosting us for 3 weeks + 4) Sales Manager ghosting us for another 3 weeks + 5) Another Sales Manager promising a call back and didn't 6) Offering some cheap merch to resolve an issue they ballooned? Just crazy if this is the Mercedes buying experience. They really turned a small problem to really ruining a special moment. Go find a different dealership!

I loved the experience of buying my new GLB. My sales guy Mina is great. He does not rush anything and he gives the customer time to take their own conclusions. It’s much different than tear the other BMW and Audi dealer I’ve been before Mercedes. The finance department was not that great because they kind of force their additional coverages like wear and tear, maintenance, etc… overall, it was a great experience. About a month since I bought my car and my sales guy is still sending emails to check on my new car.

My repair advisor was professional at first contact. She made the statement that she hD pulled some strings to accommodate me. This didn't meet the level of service Mercedes is known to provide. In the past I have found car buying to be a confusing, frustrating experience, but I truly had a wonderful experience at South Bay Mercedes-Benz. From the top down Dan Turner the sales manager worked with me for months to find me the perfect car, along with my incredible salesman Keith Cambra. Once the car came in, they were able to do most of the credit and line up financing so that when I came in to see Kelly it was seamless and quick. I really can’t tell you how much I appreciate the experience… And on top of that I absolutely love my car! I have a G wagon and a Tesla, and have had Porsches, Escalades etc. and my GL 450 is just the perfect car!! It drives like a car, but has the seating and space of a truck… It’s fabulous! I really can’t thank of the team enough for finding me the perfect car, and giving me a smooth and seamless experience. I’ll be back!

Horrible dealer with horrible customer service. After this dealer serviced my vehicle I took it elsewhere for a second opinion and found out that issues still remained with the vehicle. I called my representative Naomi and 4 weeks have gone by with no response. I spoke with the weirdo Director Dave and they might as well close it down and tell ppl to go to LBC because they don’t fix cars here, if anything you’ll get your car back with problems. All the workers have attitudes, and you can never get in touch with anybody. Go with Southbay Autobahn or another Mercedes dealer before you get scammed here. Maybe my service representative Naomi will respond once she gets this review.

I went in to have routine maintenance on my c300 2016, for a wheel alignment and fuel injection. As well as exchange a recent purchase of a broken umbrella. One beam (metal rod) busted on the first heavy rainy day. As well as to check on an email regarding my car to be repurchased because its in high demand. Not sure if that's just a flyer to get you meeting with sales but I was there anyway, so I inquired about it. The maintenence service person Babak, walked me over to the desk where an agent takes care of issuing loaner vehicles. I liked that he walked me over, adds personal touch. I also wanted to exchange an umbrella that broke on its first day of heavy rain. The sales person in the merchandise store let me pick out the umbrella that was same model and choose a different color. No hassels, from store agents. She said, just pick one of same models. Ok, wow that's great didn't check or ask me about a receipt, nice! My experience was pleasant and easy. My car was finished a few hours later. I returned the loaner and picked up my washed vehicle. I asked Babak in service if he knew anything about this email. He said no, but if I wanted to meet with a sales associate they could help me. So he walked me over to sales and explained why I was there. I thanked Babak. He introduced me to Mark Derambakhas in sales and leasing. I explained that I wanted to find out what my email meant. He said that the company sends out emails like this to buy back car.s in demand across there data base. Its based on its appraisal as well as what is left in the balance. He also explained in detail that if my car gets a good appraisal and my balance of what I owe is in lower end. That Mercedes will cut me a check and possibly come back with money for me. That is of course if what I owe is not upside down. But that its very possible they would buy it back. He also let me ask about other models in show room. He was friendly, informative and very patient with me. He took the time to let me enjoy the browsing experience. So I decided to put my information into there data base for curiosity because he took the time to let me enjoy the show room. I didn't recieve any new any information about my situation but its been just one day. As for the maintenance? Well, my car runs straight and clean. Overall, each department I encountered were excellent in service. They deserve 5 stars for friendliness, knowledgability as as great customer service.

I have 2 cars that I needed to bring in for warranty work. The first was fine at drop off, but it took them an hour to "find" my car when I went to pick it up, and it came back dirtier than when I'd dropped it off. The 2nd visit resulted in my "Hood open" warning going off whenever I accelerated after their repair. They took it back and "fixed" it, however the next time I drove that car it happened again. Brought the car back and they lied, saying the sensor short had nothing to do with their repair, although to their credit they did not charge me.

Did not repair my wireless charging pad after I told them it made a loud noise. I was told the software was updated and was asked to send video of noise. My car was at the dealer for a long time and I wish all items were repaired while there as requested. I do not want to go without my new GLE53 coupe again. Wireless pad and battery have been ongoing issues since purchase of brand new car. Towing it dead with no power has caused me to have bad tires which the dealership says it normal wear and tear. They should support their customers more with ongoing issues. I expected more from the Service manager of the entire dept. My service rep works hard but they need leaders that care. Never thought I would say this but BMW treated me better with my X6.

I have 2 Mercedes Benz dealerships near my house. One location is downtown LA and the other is Beverly Hills. Mercedes Benz of South Bay is about 40 mins away from my home, but they are the best dealership in Los Angeles.

Walked in and let them know we had approvals already and they forced us to have our credit run just so they can use the credit they ran to pick the company we were already approved for with a higher limit. Also as they we getting the paperwork ready that they were switching on us Kelly Rodriguez the finance person comes out and is cussing her daughter out in front of my 3 children who are sitting the car. So they are definitely not a dealership to recommend. They switch your paperwork without your knowledge and act very unprofessional in front of you.

My last visit to the dealership was by far the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. My service agent was Juan, and he was the nicest friendliest person I’ve ever encountered at South Bay Mercedes!!! Every time in the past when I’ve dropped off my car for service no one smiles and you get the feeling like the staff feels inconvenienced that they have to help you. Not Juan…he was friendly from the moment I met him, he was in a great mood and seemed genuinely interested in helping me get my car fixed. He investigated my warranty to see if my repairs were eligible, even though they were not, he helped find the solution in the most affordable way possible. My partner and I both own Mercedes’ and have been going to Southbay Mercedes for many years, and I’ve never had as great as an experience as I did this visit with Juan. I own a hair salon in the Southbay just a few blocks from the dealership and customer service and the customer experience is the foundation of our business model, so I know first hand how a customer should feel and be treated when they walk in the door. I hope that the rest of the service department could learn from Juan how a smile and a warm greeting can create a memorable customer experience!

First time going to this branch and I'M SOLD. I've given others a try and honestly, they don't begin to compare. My service advisor, Emily, was really nice and helpful. The wait time for check-in here was a little lengthy, but considering I was a walk-in, they got to me swiftly. The team checking everyone in was very friendly. The vast waiting area featured several televisions, reading, and light refreshments. After feeling like just a number at other Benz dealerships, this experience really brought the joy back into my membership in the Mercedes-Benz family. My was delivered in record time and with a fresh wash! Great job! Definitely trusting with my car in the future!

I was at South Bay Mercedes? to order a valet key replacement. Unfortunately, I could not walk up to the parts department, order the valet key, pay and leave. Instead I was previously informed (by phone) that this transaction was now being handled by the service technician. I was told that I didn?t need an appt. I went to South Bay mercedes on a Friday at ~ 11:45a with no appt. My service guy offered to wash the car for me (okay), but between his work load (I guess) I didn?t leave until 1:30p. I was livid. 2 hours just to order a part? Bad process or lack of priority on the service tech. Either way unacceptable.

Had a flat tire on my new S580, and have the warranty on the tire, i had the car dropped off, Natalie didn't have a spare in stock so she gave me a loaner for 3 days while they found one, replaced it and I picked it up all covered by warranty/MB! Complete white glove treatment!

I was told the service rep would get me a loaner car. that didn't happen. unless I got a scheduled service. since I had a service plan I said ok do the service. I was told or led to believe in the closing room when I purchased the vehicle there would be three years of service covered. well, that wasn't true. so no service no loaner. Never again will I fall for any extras in the Finance/Closing room. it will have to be a really great price for me to ever buy again from this dealer.

I had an appointment due to a check engine light. Car seemed great. Brought it in. 3 days later I was contacted that a simple thing needed to be replaced. Next day car was ready . I was told same day I?d be contacted and if they needed to get a part maybe I?d have to wait an extra day for that. I?m sure Covid had changed things but geez? that has never happened. Bummed

e got our dream car from this dealership almost within our budget. We have been looking to buy BENZ for almost a year but couldn?t buy it because of less inventory, inflated prices etc. etc. We finally made the plunge this weekend. We went to the store with no hopes of getting a car in our budget. When I first called Mr. Mina ? our sales hero, to book the appointment, his attitude was super optimistic. He told me, you guys come in and I will make this happen. In my mind, I was like every salesperson says that but no one is able to meet my budget. Anyways I went with my husband and 2 kids to the dealership on Sunday. It was busy; I mean busy. There were 3-4 salespersons with clients. I thought in my mind, does this dealership even have cars in the inventory? But they had a lot of options. We were greeted nicely by Mr. Mina, he listened to our requests and showed us some options. He took us for a test drive and explained all the features patiently. We really loved the car but when we saw the actual price, we were disappointed because the car was out of our budget, and from our past experiences with the dealership, we were thinking we won?t be even close to our budget. Mr. Mina finally shared the numbers and man we were right; the car was way out of our budget. Then we met with Jason- Manager of the store. He was very honest and transparent with communication. There were no false hopes created by him. He asked about our budget and said there is no way he can meet the exact budget, but he can come up with some options. Unlike another dealership, he didn?t straight say, Sorry, but this is what we can do. He said, let me see what I can do to help. He made some calls and gave us some options. He came back with final numbers, which were not exactly our budget but still close to what we could go with. We completed the deal. For sure, meeting with numbers was one thing but another primary thing was the dream team- Mr. Mina and Mr. Jason. They are there to work with you, not just get your money. They both were very transparent and very patient with us. They knew we were with small kids; they did their best to accommodate that. Last, I also want to recognize Ms. Mara- the finance lady ? who was the most important person to close the deal. She was supposed to leave at 6 pm but we were in her office till 9 PM to close the deal. She let my kids to play with her puppy and was very patient in dealing with my impatient kids( who were there in the dealership from 3 PM ? 9 PM). I also spoke to other customers that day; I think the store closed 4-6 cars deal that day and I can imagine that because everyone was so patient with their customers. In fact Mr Mina, in the end, said, this is not the end of a relationship but the start of one. This totally proved that we made the right choice to get the car from this dealership. By the way, this was our 2nd visit to this dealership in 9 months and the experience was extremely different. I would honestly say, this is one of the best dealership experiences we have had so far. Great JOB team. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I recently leased my first Mercedes-Benz from here and was more than satisfied with my overall experience. The front desk agent was extremely kind and welcoming, which really set the tone for the day. The sales associate who helped me throughout most of the visit, coincidentally named Mercedes, went above and beyond to ensure I got the car I wanted. The finance person I dealt with, Hector, was extremely personable and worked to get me the best deal possible. Everyone else from the finance manager to the gentleman who swapped out my license plate frame to the employees I briefly spoke to in passing made the ordinary experience of going to a car dealership pretty extraordinary.

She is kind, personable, makes you feel relaxed, and takes her time to do the right thing. I could go on and on. I?ve been having South Bay Mercedes service my cars for years now. Always thought their prices of repairs were on the high-end but it gave me a sense of confidence to have the dealership take care of my car and develop a history of repairs since the car was originally purchased there. I?m giving a 4 star rating this time because of I had confusion about the car loan policy. The receptionist who answered said that my service advisor had to approve the car loan while my car was being repaired. Then I spoke to my service advisor and she said that she could get a rental car and we made the appointment for the following day. I take the car in and ask for a rental and my advisor said that since it wasn?t a major service she could not approve a rental, knowing that it?s annual maintenance. So I felt this was a ?bait and switch? to get me in soon and then offered me Lyft services to/from the dealership to home. This was fine with me since I didn?t have any appointments that day. My car wasn?t ready until the following morning and the my husband said ?what happens if we didn?t have a second car?? which was true. Luckily we had a backup. Think that loaner car policies should be upfront to customers from the beginning so customers would know what to expect and be honest. Otherwise service was good and car was ready and washed when I picked up my vehicle.

I only gave four stars for facilities because they still haven?t brought back any snacks to the waiting area. It?s just bottled water and a coffee machine. C?mon. I should have learned from my first time dealing with Mercedes Benz South Bay / Autonation. Clueless -- it should not take 3 weeks to get a car fixed for a key issue - Not to mention that they did not even offer me a loaner car and I had to pay out of pocket for something that was under warranty. Which later by the way they ended up telling me was not -- totally clueless staff and my family will never be buying anything from mercedes or autonation again . I am also passing this horror tale to the 8000 people in my company . Steer clear !!!

To install a center console cover it took from 8am to 4pm, which is understanding they have a lot of work. I was texted around 4pm that the car was ready for pick up, I arrived around 4:20 to pick up, when I check out I was told that I was going to get a complimentary wash. When I went to the porter to get me car he said that is was going to take a while, after 30 min they bring my car and it is not washed, he said that there was a big line to get it washed.

Dropped of my vehicle at 7AM, was told it would be done by 4PM the same day. Never heard from Amilcar that day, or the next day. I texted, called and nothing. Finally had to call the receptionist to get information about my car, was told it was done but had to get myself to the dealer even though they didn't offer me a loaner when I dropped mine off. Because I've been driving my 2018 E400 Coupe very little over the past two years due to the Covid pandemic, I've been having a lot of problems with keeping the car's battery charged. It died completely in October 2021 and the car had to be transported to South Bay MB. The mechanics concluded that the battery itself was defective and replaced it under warranty. The problems resurfaced recently, and this time the mechanic went through the car's entire electrical system to make sure that nothing was draining the battery when the car was not in use. No such problems were found and it was again determined that the battery was the problem, perhaps because of the lack of use, and once again it was again replaced with a new battery. Although the car was out of warranty at that point, the dealership nonetheless did not charge me for either the battery or the time spent diagnosing this vexing problem. I was particularly pleased with the great service provided by Customer Care Representative Babak Vahedi. Kudos!

I did not receive the level of customer severs that I use to receiving. First- My Service Provider was late for my appointment after I reserved an 8am appointment. Second- The repairs on my car were over priced for a simple for a A5 Service. Third- My Service Provider was very short with me after being very late for my appointment. Fourth- After paying for the A5 service I was told in a very rude response that my car would not receive the complementary car wash or cleaned by the service personal at the South Bay Mercedes dealership. When I ask why, I was giving a nasty & unacceptable response with an attitude. My visit to the dealership was not a good experience & I mostly likely will not return to the dealership for future service on my Mercedes Benz considering the amount of money that I payed to have my car serviced. The car rental at the dealership was okay but the rental provider gave me a car with a empty gas tank level therefor I had to refuel the gas tank after leaving the dealership. When I returned the rental I provided a receipt for a refund & I was denied a refund for the gas purchase. The gas level was not check by the rental company before I was given the rental at the dealership. Over all my service experience was VERY POOR & I was not happy with the service provided on my Mercedes Benz of South Bay. The entire level of service was poor & my rating would be a Failure to provide excellent service is what they pride their reputation on. The service grade would be an F. I was very disappointed with the customer service my wife and I received at Mercedes of SBay. Our sale person was helpful through most of the transaction. After signing the paperwork I took the key and headed home once home. Once home I realized I only have the one key. I Called my salesman Julian and he told me it only came with 1 key. He said he would speak with his sales manager and try to do something about getting another key. A couple days went by I called ands spoke to Dave the sales manager he said there was nothing they could do, not even order a key at their cost. Now we're out over $600 to have a spare key after spending $36,000. They also wanted $180 to program the key after purchase. It has been several years since we've purchased a car but never did I thing a Giant company like AutoNation could certainly afford better than my wife and I to absorb almost $1000 in cost for a missing key. Shame on you AutoNation. I would not recommend AutoNation for your next car purchase!

We were offered a Mercedes Premium Service Contract and Protection Plus - 2 different contracts that cost of total almost $6,000 when we purchased a car from South Bay MB. The finance Manager - Kelly- said that we can later cancel the contract if decided otherwise. We were resistance to sign the contract, but as Kelly convinced it can be easily cancelled later, then we signed it. We requested for the contract terms sheet to study the contract coverage and to date only the Mercedes Premium Service contract was given - nothing on Protection Plus. On August 28, 2021 just one day after we purchased the car and signed the contract - even when the car had not been delivered - we decided to cancel the Protection Plus contract and informed Kelly as well as Memo via emails and phone calls. Memo said that $2k on the Protection Plus is nothing for SB Mercedes and wouldn't be a problem to cancel. Until today Oct 22,2021 - almost 2 months after the cancellation request, we haven't heard back the refund confirmation, let alone receiving the refund itself.While $2k might be nothing for SB Mercedes, for us is a lot! Just after I wrote the review - almost 2 months after we confirmed the cancellation of the Protection Plus, Memo called me, told me in a rude way that we haven't filed any cancellation properly as the contract is under my daughter's names she should be the one to cancel. He instructed me to get my daughter to check the current mileage of the car to get the cancellation prorated. We informed him that our daughter has send an email confirmation for the cancellation just 2 days after the contract was signed when the car had not even been delivered, thus it is not acceptable at all if they want to use the current mileage to prorate. Story short, after long argument he then checked the email correspondence and found our daughter confirmation thus agreed to "help" to forward the cancellation request to cancellation Dept. Wow.... it took almost 2 months to get a confirmation of contract cancellation, and were accused that we have not filing the cancellation properly. Be careful in signing any Maintenance or Protection Plus contract from MB. It looks minutes to sign in but 2 months for cancellation just to get proceed! In addition he said that it would need 3-9 weeks to get the refund. The worst cancellation experience ever!

The overriding shining fact I was dealing withAMG sales person: Collin Flores: easy-going, low pressure, knowledgeable, no games. I got a check engine light on my 2019 Sprinter on a Friday. I called for an appointment and they could work me in on Monday, first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, I had business meetings that would preclude me from bringing it in at that time. They said I could bring it in for a walk on on Saturday. I viewed this as very responsive. So I get to the dealership and am first inline in the service line. But to my dismay, they started processing people who had gotten there after me. I had to complain to finally get processed. I mean clearly, my vehicle was the very first in line and it is hard to miss a 4x4 Sprinter…. While I was being in processed, I asked about all the safety recalls on the vehicle and they could only work one. Not the dealer’s fault, but that just means another trip later. Then I asked about doing an upcoming A service. I was shocked at the price. Replacing wiper blades was $99. The major other elements were an oil change and fuel filter change… total price was $1000. Unbelievable for an oil change, a fuel filter change, and wiper blade replacement. They said they could eliminate the wiper blade change. Anyway, I will be going elsewhere for the service. That is just gouging. Oh and no replacement vehicle for a Sprinter, just their cars. Hmmm, second class citizen treatment. But they did pay for an Lyft ride home…. So they did nothing but park the vehicle on Saturday. I assume they were closed Sunday. It took them a day and a half to determine the fault (which was id’ed in a fault code in seconds… I had done it at home, literally in seconds), and then to troubleshoot and replace an O2 sensor. First off, why’d it take so long to plug in a code reader? Second, why so long to change out a sensor? Three, why did a sensor fail this early? They did wash the vehicle before returning it. Overall: dealing with the coordinator was a very pleasant experience. Getting me in quickly and accommodating my work schedule was a real plus. The experience in the drop-off line was infuriating. Feeling like a second class MB customer, no replacement vehicle, was not pleasant. The price for the regular service was ridiculous. And the amount of time to troubleshoot and replace the faulty sensor was excessive. The free car wash was nice.

I have to be honest. With a brand new car with 550 miles on it I am not expecting the car to be towed on a flat bed with a dead battery and there to be no timetable on when it would arrive. Anyone would be upset hearing that. I am not expecting to be dealing with a combative service rep Jackie Mohl who is barely giving me the time of day. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the battery arrives and they install it and I tell them not to wash it for fear of them scratching it. It is returned to me FILTHY with fingerprints and dirt still on the car as if it was on a mud road race....so I said "Go wash it" reluctantly. It comes out 35 minutes later in sunlight with fine scratches all over the paint. I was in shock I have to be honest. I left in a loaner again and left the car with them for them to detail. I picked it up 48 hours later cleaned yes but the scratches remained(black car). I don't know what type of towels they use there but they are not microfiber. I was upset naturally and spoke to April the Service Manager and she spoke to Mercedes USA and they finally agreed to let me get the car professionally detailed and scratches removed. Yes they paid for it but it was an agonizing 3 weeks with a BRAND NEW car. There is no way I can recommend this dealership. Calling me before this review to tell me to give them a great rating also a bad idea. Can you imagine being told what kind of rating to give a dealership? I have the car back yes and it is running yes and the scratches have been removed yes but I would not recommend getting your car washed there. I will say that April was nice but the Jackie Mohl Service Rep was not. I love my car but I am not happy with how the whole thing was handled. That was an AMG GLE53 Coupe 2021 Black fyi. The dealership would benefit greatly from buying their towels from Chemical Guys in Gardena which are the softest anywhere but I doubt they will nor listen to me.

I scheduled my appointment over the phone, in advance. The person I spoke with provided me with outstanding service. I promptly received an email confirming my service advisors name in the time of my appointment. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by a service representative who directed me to my Advisor, Amilcar Mejia. Mr. Mejia was very professional, courteous and friendly. Within 10 minutes he had not only taken care of all of the paperwork but had put me in a rental car for the day. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I would give them a zero if I could. They kept my car for 13 days for basic service and auxiliary battery replacement. Service Rep never once initiated a call to update me. I had to call him. When my car was finally ready, I showed up the following day and still had to wait another 25 minutes while the Service Rep completed the paperwork that should have been completed the day before. I tried contacting the Service Manager, but had no success with that. I guess that makes sense. I will never set foot in that place again!

The vehicle was CPO but right after a week of purchase, it was sent to service for replacement of parts, break rotors, pads, blisters in upholstery etc. the vehicle remained with dealer for another 10-15 days and now it seems it’s overheating and I saw under hood insulation needs replacement and still awaiting on sales to provide me the mbrace account. This can’t be a CPO with just 20k miles on it for which I paid $46K plus.. My first Mercedes and I am disappointed 😞

A little tough on the front end of communication..called once for a quote on getting a service "A" done on my sprinter van. Person that I spoke with couldn't answer my question and referred me another service person. My call went to voice mail .I left my contact info and my question with who I was told was the " service manager". No call back. Called again a week later asked the same question, This time I was told the service "A" was appx 320.- Later I find out they only quoted the oil change and not the total service charge. Over 900.-. Little sticker shock. I was told my service advisor was Frank. To speak with him upon arrival. Day before I went in for the appointment I called and left a voice message with a question.. No call back. Went in for the appt, found out I had a new service person to work with.She was helpful and to the point. I was told she handled service for the sprinters. Should have started with her...I give her ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5 stars . Don't have her name in front of me but she would be the reason I would go back.. Got her a coffee Bean gift card..

I had a service appointment yesterday. I had to wait 2 hours for the dealership to tell me they were backed up and wouldn’t be able to change the tires. After talking to the service director they finally decided they would change the tires. It took them 3.5 hours and could have taken 10 minutes. The service advisor was rude. They indicated they were busy but I looked around and most of the employees were standing around. My GLE AMG is a great car but my lease is up and I don’t want to own another car that needs to be serviced here. I have come here for service for 3.5 years and I am done.

Even if we didn’t get the car there at MB South Bay, the service department is always willing to help out. My service advisor, Brandi excels at what she does. When they needed the car for more than a day to look at an issue, Brandi set me up with a loaner. I actually didn’t expect this! Highly recommend. So glad I don’t have to drive to Newport Beach for everything MB related.

Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. They love you right up until they get your money. You can see my review of my sales experience and the total mishandling of my experience from the beginning on Google Reviews. But, now I am compelled to write more reviews. I have owned my Certified Preowned 2017 C43 AMG for a total of 22 days. 14 of those days it has been in the service department. I was so upset with the handling of my experience from the beginning, I was referred to speak to the General Manager. He or she did not feel the need to speak with me and asked a Sales Director to speak with me. He was very nice and reassured me this is not how they do business. I met with him in person when I returned my car to the service department for the second time in less than two weeks. Same problem both times. AC/heat not functioning properly. First time they assured me it was resolved. One week later I returned with exact same problem. I have owned this car for 22 days. 8 of those days it has been in the service department. A Certified Preowned! I inquired about the progress and was informed by service advisor the problem was resolved, but now my mechanic broke the “overhead trim cover” and they have had to order yet another part. Of course I called the Sales Director and left a message asking him to call me. No return call. Yet, when I met him in person 7 days ago when I dropped off my vehicle, he assured me he was personally going to be involved in this case so it is properly handled. I assume his idea of properly handling a situation is avoidance. I am a realist. I understand things happen. I do not understand this dealership’s stance on customer service. To understand the full scope of my displeasure with this dealership, please see my Google Review. This has been a menagerie of misleadings, bait and switch, poor management, deceit and absurd customer service from the beginning. I am at my wit’s end. Not sure of my next steps. But, please save yourself. There are other MB dealerships that are far more reputable. Go elsewhere!

nice loaner car, quick in and out the only problem is with the system update the car has been acting strange. with the cruise control on it started stoping on the freeway for no reason slowing down on slight turns for again no reason. most setting changed. I'm not happy with the update hopefully they can reverse it.

Awfull response to problem with the used car we bougth from this dealer,2009 CLK 350,after driving it less than 105 miles the check engine light came on which was diagnosed as a left cylinder bank timing issues by my mechanic. Unfortunately the warranty was 5 days or 250 miles and this happen on the 7th day of ownership so we were told there was nothing they could do for us.We even ask if we could buy a more expensive car if they would take the problem car, but their answer was always the same a resounding NO

I've been having my car serviced at South Bay for the past 8 years and have always been very satisfies with the customer service and given a 5 rating. MY experience this time was not the same, I'm not talking about the repairs. I was not comfortable with customer service rep. he kept coming back with more repairs and not very customer-oriented, The previous service manager was very attentive to customers and made it a point to acknowledge you if he observed that you were waiting for a while. I met with the present service manager to review the bill since it was the highest I've ever paid, considering we're in a pandemic and I did not do much driving, I felt on the defensive the whole time. I'm very grateful and appreciative that my request to have the tab picked up for my wheel alignment was honored, which was not done during the initial repairs because the spare was on. While he agreed, no notes were left so when I tried to schedule and appointment and he was not available it was very uncomfortable trying to explain. I'm very satisfied with the repairs.

Horrible experience that gave me the impression that I am a victim to a bunch of money hungry scavengers who were looking for every tiny detail to increase the cost of the service. Also treated me with no respect as a loyal customer who has always paid leasing agreement on-time. Couldn't even give me a decent loaner vehicle that covers the length of repairs, but stretched the time to repair by adding more and more work to the work order.

I bought a GLB in December. I live in Az. I just received a temporary Az tag. 3 weeks after we bought the vehicle, I decided to call the dealership and inquire about license plates. Unbelieveably, they had not started the process of licensing the new vehicle. I had to talk with several employees until 1 actually knew what to do and got the ball rolling so we could get a temporary Az license tag. And that is just a taste of what went wrong.

My drop off appointment was at 8:20am yesterday. The service guy, Pablo was supposed to call my husband after diagnosis. I didn’t hear anything for 6 hours so I called Pablo at 2:33pm. He called me back in 10 min said he called my husband but my husband didn’t answer. When did he call my husband? AFTER I CALLED PABLO. So Pablo FORGOT to call and started telling me that I need to replace my passenger seatbelt and need to order the parts and it takes a few days blah blah blah... First of all, he FORGOT to call us and they did NOT do anything for 6 hours and telling me that I don’t get my car back for days. The quote for replacing the passenger seatbelt or buckle is $955. I asked him WHY I don’t use passenger seat almost never but it needs to replace before driver’s side. Also I said price is ridiculous. Pablo said “BECAUSE YOUR CAR IS OLD AND DOESN’T HAVE WARRANTY” ARE YOU KIDDING ME⁈ I am calling MB headquarter customer service today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I did not like my experience at SB Mercedes. I felt I was charged a diagnostic fee for a problem I already knew I had. Also the diagnosis didn’t tell me where the issue was on my vehicle. I will take all of my family’s Mercedes to DTLA Mercedes from now on.

Took my 2014 E350 in for an air conditioning issue. Was assigned Brad Parker as my service advisor. Brad went above and beyond and ordered a multipoint inspection which uncovered a few other significant issues that needed repair. I’m glad he was thinking of the car as a whole rather then just focusing on one item. Everything got handled smoothly under warranty. Much appreciated !

Had a great experience at Mercedes Benz, no complaints with customer service. This may seem off-topic, I hope they consider getting rid of the tiny individual sized plastic water bottles they offer to customers and employees. Plastic is extremely damaging to the environment, and almost always ends up in landfill. I was bothered to see their employees drinking out of these bottles - i wish they would install a water filter instead, and people can bring in reusables. We must do all we can to help the environment, and this is such an easy thing to fix.

I was looking for glc lease and found good deal on southbay benz. I submitted my info and received one of sales persons. Due to work hour, i set 6pm appointment on Friday and he agreed that. So i went there and tried to meet him based on email conv and phone convo,Luke. I waited over 20min to meet him and came to me there is no appointments. Wow. Why i went there for no appointment. Anyhow, assigned Mina who explained and helped alot during test drive. Ok. I can take till this. After test driving, they gave an offer which is much higher than what I received thru edmunds. So I showed the numbers on the edmunds and they said they can’t do business with this price. I do not know it is from southbay benz, Benz finance, or edmunds. I decided not to have a biz with them and left. They are not ready to do a truthful business and I disappointed. I do not recommend this dealer. If you are willing to do, please be prepare carefully.

I went to the dealership to lease the new 2020 A220, as a consumer I felt welcomed, I was greeted by everyone in the dealership, for the sales person. He was friendly, he had A big knowledge about the car, he offered Different financial solutions to meet my needs, the offer was affordable to me, I singed the contract, and the sales person walked me through all the features in the car, and made sure to get answers for all the questions I had.
